As long as I'm not directly involved, I suppose I am. I absolutely detest drama in my own life, but for some reason reading forum drama is full of lols for me. I don't particularly like watching it on TV either though. I've hated shows like Jerry Springer, and a lot of the reality tv shows for years because of it.

Me too, I just can't decide which one was funnier. I'm leaning towards the OoT one, for the simple reason that the dude there was purposefully being an *** and using just about every one of the common internet argument memes. I'm kind of sad that Kao muted him though. Poor Derpy is just clueless.

Derpy is so clueless he's not even funny. Full of unexplored potential, though.

Btw, my weekend was full of beer.
Friday I had 6 hours of beer time, wich was great, plus friends.
Saturday I had 3 Belgium beers and 1 Danish at home. I forgot the name of the Belgium one and the Danish was a Guld type, though I can't remember the name either. I kinda collect different bottles/whatever of beer. Have over 200 already.
Sunday I had more beers, brazilian this time, while I was watching my soccer team playing with my girlfriend. She cheers (is that the verb used? I don't think it is, but google translator says it is) for the team that was playing agains the one I do. Was pretty fun, since my team won and hers lost. She was infuriated, haha.

Btw, is there any english over here? I'm planning a trip to London on April 16th till 29th and was thinking about either go to Ireland or Scotland to spend two or three days there. Any thought of places I have to know? Pubs included, btw.

If you go to Scotland, try to avoid Glasgow if you can. Edinburgh has some nice pubs, and some really nice history, if your into that sort of thing. Edinburgh is one of those cities you can walk around all day, and still find some really cool stuff at the end of it. Probably has some of the best pubs in Scotland too, although I can't actually comment on pubs because when I used to visit on a weekly basis, I was still under 18.

Kali has Internet again now, since today.

Go to Edinburgh. It is marvellous. The caste is on a really pretty rock. Talk to people because of accents.
I've never been anywhere else in Scotland or Ireland. I'm going to Dublin in the summer, I hear it's amazing.

I'm going to Nottingham soon for an xkcdCon (really it's my birthday party, but it's disguised as an xkcdCon because we could!).

I wrote a really important e-mail to Edinburgh uni yesterday while also writing a blog-thingy for my Linguistics class. I went back over the e-mail later at night and noticed that I had started an interjection in the middle of a sentence and then sort of continued the sentence wrongly and my word order was such a mess. I hate it when I make avoidable mistakes, especially when it's this important.

I don't understand how anyone can study the English language. It's insanely tedious and boring, and, not to undermine your studies, but it's unnecessary. I couldn't tell you what the difference between an adjective and a verb is, but can I structure a sentence? Of course I can. Sure, I make mistakes when it comes to grammar, and I put commas in my sentences way too often (I failed most of my essays in high school because I used parenthesis too much).

That said, I also kinda owe part of my high school career to English, because It managed to get me published in something, don't remember what. I also used to have the "amazing" ability to spell really well. Scored 50/50 on the first spelling test in high school, they tested me again, got 100/100. They tested me yet again, and I got 150/150. Then I got moved up and English class and was forced to have a teacher I hated and made my life miserable for 4 years.

If you can spell relatively well, and make sentences not want to force people to burn books, then any further study is pointless, in my opinion. Also, they make you read the most boring books ever in high school. Probably why I've pretty much stopped reading books altogether. I used to really enjoy it too, then I discovered video games and booze.

The degree (and the knowledge you acquired in gaining it) will be useful if you want to be a writer, or copy-editor, or teacher, etc.

I was tempted to buy a set of Kwak beer too, simply because the glass is awesome incarnate but the beer isn't that good.
