I have the same issue Digg. The guys here finally got me to try a more specialized beer, and I was able to drink it at least. It wasn't too bad, but not something I went crazy over. Hard cider though, mmmm!

"Hard Cider"?

Heh, we just call that cider over here.

While we're talking about that, though, cidre > cider.

Cidre is badass. It's like cider, except it's French and not for sissies.

lol, that's pretty funny Aethien.

I've been raiding for two months now, and I have yet to get a single upgrade for my main spec. This week I got some pants for my feral set, but I honestly don't really care about that. It's really starting to make me cranky. I feel guilty about getting mad about it too. I don't want to be a bad team player by getting upset because other people in the group are getting upgrades and I haven't gotten any. I know that eventually I'll get some upgrades, even if I have to wait until everyone else gets the upgrades they need before I have no competition on rolls anymore... Patience is just not something I have a lot of. It's the main reason I spent so much time leveling archaeology this weekend, so I can get some more epics. I feel like I'll get epics faster with archaeology at this rate, than I will by raiding and doing my daily random.

Yeah I know it doesn't make all that much sense. But considering I can only get 70 VP a day aside from raiding that only happens once a week, I could possibly get the Tol'Vir ring or either of the staves sooner time wise than I could get the damn dagger off of Magma.

Yeah I definitely have been watching TV and stuff while leveling Archaeology. Otherwise I think I'd go insane lol.

I don't have a TV in my room and I tried doing the whole Alt-Tab while flying to new location thing, but it was still painfully boring. It's like Fishing if you could only fish from fish schools.

Doesn't help that the Survey thing is completely retarded at times. Blinking green, I moved 10 yards and Surveyed again, getting a blinking green in the opposite direction.

They should increase the trigger radius. Having to move two steps to the left to successfully dig out a huge vase makes no sense and is annoying as hell.

Windowed mode is your friend. :D You don't really need it maximized if you are just fishing/herbing/mining/surveying.

Well, unless you are on a PvP server, I suppose.

I play windowed al the time, on a PvP server. Granted the window is most of the screen.

Yeah, I was referring to a smaller window--the kind where you can have a video playing on one side and the game on the other.

I play maximized window mode. I can't play video games in regular window mode, it bugs the hell out of me.

Ruins the immersion or whatever. Like watching 240p YouTube videos of trailers. No. Hell no. 480p and fullscreen or GTFO.

I don't normally--it's only when I'm doing something that really demands no attention. Basically, when I'm not "playing" so much as "going through the motions because there is no possible world in which this is fun."

I like to be able to tab easier and still see my LFG queue timer. Also with window mode I can see who is talking in vent.

Way to double-post. ;) And how does being windowed let you tab easier (in a way that windowed but maximized doesn't)?

[EDIT]

I'm with Maz--when I'm normally playing, I want it maximized. I just don't care when I'm not immersed anyway.

Max windowed > fullscreen for alt-tabbing, sure, but between max and not max windowed there shouldn't be a difference.

As for the LFG queue while alt-tabbed, just set it to play sounds in the background (audio settings). That way you can hear the whole DADAAAAH when your queue pops, even while alt-tabbed.

How do you guys handle Pulverize? It seems like it does a respectable amount of damage and I've yet to find myself rage starved, so I tend to use it every time I get a new three stack of Lacerates. Lacerate is almost never up for its full duration.

Good/bad/indifferent?

Also I'm noticing the serious lack of major glyphs for resto...where's the love? The fact that one of them isn't even useful unless you take a specific optional talent is really weird too.

Srsly.

-Healing Touch glyph is a bit of a joke, and you don't even get HT until what, 78 now?
-Wild Growth glyph is teh awsum for for raiding, but in 5s, it's really just insurance against things like pet-heavy groups.
-Innervate glyph is nice if you have someone to swap it with, but if you don't it's kind of a sad day. It's technically balance anyway.
-Entangling Roots got nerfed to a laughable .02 seconds; which I can only assume was an error, and that's balance too.
-Thorns is nice if you have a questionable tank, but that's a balance glyph as well (sound like a broken record yet?).

Yay for the Rebirth glyph... Smiley: grin

Indifferent.

Haven't made any sort of UI set up to track the buff. Might do that today as I have been doing more bear stuff lately.

Quote:

We're a bit worried about Resto being too powerful in PvP. We wanted to try out the Lifebloom changes to see if it fixed the problem. We don’t think it's quite the right change though, so we're going to revert the Lifebloom mana nerf, but keep the reduced bloom effect. We'll have to keep watching this.

The change to Efflorescence becoming a smart heal was actually originally just a bug. Since so many of you responded so favorably to it though, we're actually going to redesign Efflorescence to work similarly. We expect the redesign to help the talent be more useful in 5 and 10 player content as well. We'll have more details at a later time.

You know what? This seens pretty good, actually. Hope they go live with that.

Efflo on the ptr is healing one person at a time for 3Kish or something.

I want them to unlink living seed and efflo. Actually I'd like them to get rid of living seed.

Ancestral Awakening > Living Seed.

It's crazy how much I love that talent. Just a shame the rest of the class is slightly lackluster now.

Yes and no, Xsarus. It does that, but in a smart way. Not a random person, but the person that has less health, kinda like WG.
More effective that way.
