Hmmmm.....not sure you are playing the same game as me. In my game ferals are still pretty good and proposed changes haven't actually been tested enough to see how much we lose or gain as yet.

How much testing do you need to figure out that going from breaking all roots to breaking none is going to hurt? It's not a min/max case of theorycrafting here, it's "We used to be able to break roots and prevent being kited - now we can't". It's like going from being able to move to not being able to move and then trying to figure out how that might affect you in PvP.

Doesn't take a rocket surgeon.

And reports from the PTR are looking grim. As in "Frost Mages completely counter us now" and "Hunters and even Death Knights can kite us to death" and "Warlocks and Spriests just rip us a new one".

Yeah, I'd say the reports are universally bad. Even high-ranked Ferals are bailing out.

Like someone said on the forums, what's up with Blizzard nerfing anything but the cause of the issue? It's like when Arcane Mages became OP and they nerfed the 3-minute Mage setup instead of Arcane Barrage which was the real issue. Now Ferals are OP because of their Mastery and they nerf shapeshifting instead of the Mastery.

Really, I don't ******* get it.

On another note, has anyone else noticed you can now mount your flying mount while swimming? Not while submerged, but my Hunter was able to swim to the surface and then mount his dragon or whatever. Druids still have to jump to switch to Flight Form.

Slowly they're draining away our flavor.

The thought of you and Theo in all your glory on the Oboards had me on fire.

I mean, I got a six-day suspension for calling someone an idiot.

That's why I don't visit the O-boards, too many delicate flowers who ignore theorycrafting to play their way and insist that their way is better without proof beyond how they feel that this is better or it just seems better to them.

Those people make me rage, like Smiley: madSmiley: motz rage.

Gratz. Post more, or less, or something.

I rated you up, well at some point at least. I mean I think I've rated you up before. Sounds like something I'd do. Suppose I could be ***** to do it again.

Now hurry and eclipse Mazra, so we have something exciting to talk about. Smiley: wink

Grats Aeth! PFORU and all that...

Also, how does one find the top posters page? I've tried looking for it a few times and so far I've been unsuccessful.

You need to know the link to be able to find it as it's not linked anywhere on the site. (except of course in posts)

Also Kali, are you cooking that for me? Smiley: inlove

No, I wrote a Python script to do that.

Yes, I took a lobster-dressed kitten that appears to be set up to be cooked and turned it into a Python joke.

Mazra, I have a newfound appreciation for your country thanks to the Scandinavia and the world comic that Kali linked me today and apparently someone linked in this thread somewhere.

Either way, yay Denmark.

I was referring to Brisin's post where he said : -
Quote:
If you dont remember well, feral druids were useless in Vanilla. So, yeah, the game is getting back to what it was with druids. All we need now is to remove Moonkin form, nerf to resto druids and a buff to Innervate.
There ya go, Vanilla WoW.

It may be he was specifically talking about PvP, but it isn't how I read it. The roots thing is pretty devestating for PvP ferals (not me). I'm glad that I choose to PvP as resto - even though I rarely seem to have time.

The shapeshifting change doesn't matter much in PvE, except for maybe the last guy in Vortex Pinnacle, but if you're rolling with a healer, which I hear is good in heroics, you should be fine.

It will, however, make Ferals free HK to anyone with a root or a fear. And I'm not in the PvP game at all, at least not on Arena levels (and I hear Battlegrounds are ridiculous due to huge health pools, resilience and OP Holy Paladins), but I kinda like being able to stand a chance out in the world when some random jackass comes after me while I'm questing.

If that random jackass is a Mage, Hunter, Priest or Warlock, I'm just a free kill. Berserk? Sure, but it not making us immune to fear effects anymore means that a clever opponent will hit the CC button the moment we pop it. Even a Warrior can fear us and laugh as we run around afraid. Ignoring the fact that Berserk is named after the viking berserker who were infamous for their LACK OF FEAR of anything.

Way to gut a talent, Blizzard. Not to mention the whole class.
