This is false simply because I wouldn't use the word "programming" for anything >= 1000 lines of code. That scale is "developing".
Plus, I could just snatch one of 'em open source ones.

You just don't want your plans to become ruler of the universe to come out, but I've got you figured out!

Getting ready to push through and finish the sticky here fairly soonâ„¢.

Had question, does a LB stack started with NG up keep the haste buff through refreshes as haste is not dynamically calculated for HoTs n DoTs.

Sigh, I'm starting to lose faith in this game.

From liking the tanking and healing style, I'm now down to just liking the Feral DPS style of the class. And a huge amount of mobs in this game were designed to @#%^ over classes with positional requirements. Spinning around, spewing crap on top of themselves, jumping and charging people, it's frustrating.

If they want to kill the Druid class, why not just do it and be done with it?

And I laugh in the face of those who said that AOE wouldn't be a problem in Cataclysm. Wrong on so many levels. Every single dungeon, normal and heroic, I've been in, there have been pulls where you needed to hold aggro on 5-15 mobs to avoid people getting roflstomped. From the very first Throne of the Tides run where you had to pick up a million goblins that hurt, to Stonecore with the spiders that also hurt and packs of 5+ mobs, to Tol'Avir where stuff also come in groups of 5+.

CC one and pick up the rest, right? Sounds easy. Unless your DPS manages to get off one unfortunate AOE ability. Thrash will hold aggro through some, but far from enough.

And I honestly don't get it. Why did they nerf Druid AOE of all things? It's not like we had loads of it to begin with. Death Knights, Warriors and Paladins are still rocking sick AOE. Paladins and Warriors even had theirs upgraded. Paladins now have a Thrash equivalent on a 3-second cooldown with a mana cost that makes it spammable. Warriors can Thunder Clap a target with Rend on to apply Rend to everything in range. Rend hits for about as much as Thrash crits for.

I don't get it. I want to facepalm someone.

Edit: And it's not that I want a spammable Swipe so I can rush in there and 1-button to victory. I can always do that on my Paladin (oh snap). I just don't like that I have to apologize to my group beforehand when I join for a random dungeon. And it pisses me off when I see my level 82 Paladin holding aggro on AOE my Druid wouldn't be able to. Just give me some reliable and cheap snap aggro ability. Buff Swipe to increase the direct hit and change Thrash to do more DoT than direct damage. Would allow us to pop Swipe for some snap aggro and then use Thrash to get some sustained AOE threat (like Death & Decay, Consecration or Thunder Clap with Rend).

It feels ridiculous that I have to use a mediocre AOE ability and then instantly start spamming single target abilities on 5+ mobs just to not lose aggro to the healer.

They need to drop the rage cost of Thrash, it would fix a lot of initial aggro problems. As unless you have rage left from a prior pull you need to pop Enrage to have the rage to use the skill. Having to use a 1 minute CD to help stabilize aggro to start a trash pull is weary.

Thrash does do good damage and threat. But it often can't be cast until you've all ready lost initial aggro on a mob or two or a few seconds in, both of which reduce its effectiveness. Thrash works best when it is kept up at all times to help power Maul cleaving while spreading Lacerate and Mangle. Even if they keep the 2 AoE attacks as is but switched the rage costs that would be super duper.

Also Stampede is lol-craptastic for a bear. It should reduce rage costs by 30% for the 8 seconds instead of +30% melee haste as Maul isn't spammable or attached to melee attacks and Charge costs all of the Furor rage to use. I've all ready taken a point out to max BI as having the reliable interrupt is far more valuable than an extra 15% melee haste after I Charge. Especially since with the more common usage of CC opening with Charge isn't a viable option all the time.

The Stampede idea is actually awesome and would make most AoE tanking fairly gravy. As the largest issue I have is rage early on in pulls. Would also be fairly bad *** for single targets to boot.

My understanding is that a refreshed stack of LB (no matter how you do it) counts as a new application of the spell. It should do a check of what buffs you have on at application and reset any modifiers such as Nature's Grace and Symbiosis in the process.

So a little while back I got a rejection from Nottingham University because I was not fulfilling their entry requirements. I disputed their decision and they e-mailed me to inform me they might make me an offer, anyway!

Also, I just translated a recipe from a mix of English, Danish and Punjabi into German! Yay!

And tomorrow I am flying home. More yay!

And lots of exclamation marks.

It is for me. I could write a rather lengthy post to explain why, but I don't want to bore you with the details unless you're dying to hear them. Smiley: tongue

The compressed story, though, is that even though I don't like to go to bed early, I don't like to wake up late. If I do, I feel like half the day is gone before I even begin it.

Of course, once in awhile I kinda need to catch up on my sleep, but still… Smiley: glare

You should have kids. They solve the sleeping late problem quite well. Smiley: wink

Luckily my wife's kitten doesn't have thumbs. Otherwise I'd be dealing with this as well.

And "No, leave daddy alone" is the snooze button? (I bet that snooze button is not very effective.)
