As someone who's about 3/4 of the way through paying back his student loans. I'd just like to say I found this statement very refreshing. Smiley: grin

My student loans will be $0.

The government pays me ~$900 a month while I'm studying.

I'm getting used to it. I'm 4 weeks into working 7 days a week at the moment and it is only a couple of months ago that I finished a patch of 9 weeks without a day off. The good news is that I don't need much sleep so I can still get some decent gametime in :)

Here in Brasil, monday is a special day. Its called Proclamation of the Republic.
In november 15, 1889, Brasil had its first republic government established.

In "google english":

So, yeah, I have monday as a day-off

Today is Veteran's Day here in the states, hence why so many people are getting a three day weekend. I wouldn't have known this, but my facebook news feed was swamped today with statuses thanking veterans for their service. I actually found it rather annoying. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate people in the armed forces to some extent, I just think that the level of worship we have for them in this country goes way overboard. Then again, i'm also super liberal border line hippie chick, so my opinion probably doesn't matter to most people. :-)

Even with the vast majority of my student bills being paid for with grants and scholarships (yay for being a poor old student!) I'm already sitting at 25k in loans I'll have to pay back. And i still need to get my teacher's certification. Luckily for me though, that's about a quarter of what I would be paying if I had to get loans to cover it all... And I go to a state school. O.o

Yeah that reminds me I should call my parents and say happy Vet's day.

Also, @#$%ing hippie, get off my lawn, get a job, it's your fault we have Obamacare and Kitzhaber again and such. Smiley: motz

Did I miss anything? Kidding of course. Smiley: wink

My coffee hasn't kicked in yet. Plus I had to get starbucks this morning, so I'm kind bummed about that. My post quality is poor until I get that first kick. Perhaps that will give you some fodder?

Or I could just randomly start pushing the report button? Smiley: wink

Edited because I wanted to add a space between the question mark and the smiley. Yes, I only edit for the important things...

Hey Maz!
I'd like to thank your country for another thing besides LEGO, Volbeat.
That got me new music to listen to (Not sure why I've not paid attention to them in the past but damn they're cool.)

Dude, what the hell, I totally showed you that band years ago and you were all 'Meh'.

Lead singer sounds like freakin' Elvis.

One of the favorites.

Although, Still Counting is also nice. Love the intro.

I was listening to The Hillbilly Casino and I knew that Volbeat is a mix of 50's rock and metal so I figured I'd better go listen to them again.

.

I'm surprised. That's actually really good, which is a change for me, 'cause I've been listening to Death Metal for the last few weeks, non stop.
