O.o If I have to click the macro three times, wouldn't it just be easier to use my keybinding for cat form, then move forward and hit cower and then use keybinding for moonkin form? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you taking the time to make and test the macro, it just seems easier and less confusing to not use it.
Then again i'm not all that experienced in using macros. In the past I've just used them to blow cool downs on my mage. I'll give it a try though. Do I have to click on it three times BEFORE I move?
The first time you click it, it puts you in Cat Form. Unfortunately this triggers the GCD, so it's not as effective as I thought (hence all the edits), because you have to wait for the GCD before you can use Cower. Second time you hit the macro, it will cast Cower, if you are within range, otherwise it'll just do nothing until you get within range. Once it's able to cast Cower, it will then put you in Moonkin Form the third time you hit it.
The only actual useful thing about is that you only have to press one button. Instead of going <Key 1>, <Key 2> and <Key 3>, you just go <Key 1>. Makes it easier to spam, especially if you're moving in from a distance since you might not be within range when you hit <Key 2> and might end up hitting <Key 3> before you get off Cower. But yeah, I'd probably go with just using the existing hotkeys. Stance macros like this one is mostly useful if changing stance doesn't trigger a GCD, since you could just hit one button and do stuff at once.
In your case, actually, you'd probably be better off just halting your rotation for a moment and doing a bit of kiting. If the tank doesn't taunt the boss before he reaches you, he's bad and should go away. Tell him I said it. In AOE situations, War Stomp is superior since you just stun stuff and it dies before the stun breaks.
