I'm a terrible druid for not really seeing the sense in having to do a bunch of respecs on the FIRST DAY a new mechanic is out when they would have given you a free one?

No, you're a terrible druid for not seeing that one refund is nowhere near enough to settle on a spec.
If you don't respec at least twice a week you're just not a good druid.

I think he means in the first week or so of the new talents.

I'll likely go through a bunch of specs in the first week until I pick two I like.

If there wasn't a loft on the respec cost, I'd owe Blizzard money right now.

I guess I'm slightly biased since I've had beta access and could see how the new trees work firsthand :p

I'd respec more if I didn't have to reprogram my action bars every time I did, but I get around this by just having two druids :P

When we have reset, I'm going to do a lol-feral spec and leave the other one blank.

If lol-feral works for tanking, I'll try lol-feral with DPS.

Iterations from there to get a tank spec and DPS spec but if lol-feral works for both, I'll start a caster set. Scratch that, I'm going to start a caster set either way. I want to have the option come Cata. Especially if lol-feral works as then I can have lol-feral and the other one alternate as needed.

I never said I'm a good druid, in fact I'm pretty sure I was a mediocre druid at best.

Pretty simple really, I have never had the same finesse or perfection while tanking as a druid that I've had while dpsing on my hunter. I didn't feel like I knew all the tricks nevermind being able to put them into practice.
I know I wasn't capable of main tanking for a high end guild on my druid and I barely tried healing and no dpsing whatsoever.

Still, I am/was probably a much better druid tank that the vast majority of scrubs that play WoW but it's laughable to seriously compare myself to that.

No one ever mentioned the most difficult part of the Lich King fight would be tank lag. We've had about 10 attempts to this point. Half have fallen apart on the P1-P2 transition when the MT has lagged and fallen over the edge.

We're considering alternative strategies at this point.

For spec I'm about here for resto atm. With a couple of points still up in the air. Bear is somewhere around here-ish.

Do any of these alternative strategies include "You don't get to tank LK anymore until you fix your lag"?

Don't you just hate getting paid months late?

As in, I haven't gotten paid in months. I have bills with deadlines. Fast approaching deadlines.

One of them. Smiley: wink

Hopefully it was just a bad night for his connection. But the crazy glowingness when the platform collapses seems to freeze him up. The biggest problem is that no one is really interested in raiding at this point in the expansion, and finding a replacement tank might not be possible.

Either way the guy narrowly survived a vote-kick from the raid group the other day after showing up late, so we may be about to hit 2 birds with one stone. Smiley: lol

What? Why? Smiley: confused

On a side note, the live update page apparently doesn't like it when 2 posts appear at the same time... Smiley: lol

Thank god I get paid on time, I'd have serious money issues if pay was late.
That said, my money for this month is already rapidly racing towards it's end and I still need to surive another 3 weeks until the next paycheck...

Did I ever mention the time I didn't get paid for 10 months and then got all the money at once?

Oh, right, I used it to visit Æethien.

Happened a few times before that, too. One got me a Wii, another a deposit on my flat.

Smiley: yikes

fairly awesome indeed.

On another note I need to mess with my grid until it shows who is bubbled. Will help me plan for the infest thingy and what not.

I have it set to show Weakend Soul and PW:S, PW:S just being on top of WS. Don't bother with the WS part if you aren't disc as it isn't important.

ya, I'm not disc, just in charge of healing anyone who needs it after infest hits. Just would like to hear the DBM warning that infest is about to hit, then look up and see 8/10 people have bubbles on them, then start casting heals on those who don't before infest hits.

As I have it now I have to wait until people take damage before I know who to start healing, and that's no good.
