I love the Turkish shop next door.
So much deliciousness, I'm going to have a delicious salad for dinner tonight, and my place smells like basil from the basil plant I got <3
It's making me all happy and cheerful.

Now I'm all hungry... Smiley: tongue

After 2 months we're finally going to try Dreamwalker again. It's a long story, but I'm hopeful we can just be done with the drama already. The priest should be respec'd and going into the portals, and I'll be healing the raid. If all goes well the new members won't say anything stupid before we get there. Then I can get on with my life, and we can just finish this ICC thing already... Smiley: lol

So…can anyone with a druid post in this thread? I've been reading it for some time but have held off posting due to feel like an outsider. But apparently, that isn't stopping me now.

If it matters, I do play a druid. Smiley: tongue

Welcome, and post all you want. Smiley: grin

Being bored, drunk, or somehow entertaining is good.

Oh, and don't drink the water. Feral druid is feral...

Yeah, don't drink the water. Some of these guys use it to wash themselves.
And trust me, the smell coming off a bear after a night of tanking is not nice.

I'm surprised Berserking is still at the top for you Rarebeast -- once I started getting T10 gear, Rawr wanted me to switch to Mongoose.

Rawr was incorrectly modeling Mongoose under the very common mis-assumption that Mongoose is 2% haste. It was 2% haste at level 70 (~30haste rating). It has now been shown to be still 30 haste rating. This is only about 1% haste now at level 80. Since Rawr fixed this, mongoose has dropped in value a little to make it not quite as good as beserking.

I too was using mongoose for quite a while there.

Oh and being near the crit cap reduces the value of the Agi from mongoose too.

I'm bored.

Now that I've found out Blood tanking on my DK isn't the bane of my existence, I'm contemplating gearing him up. Here's the kicker, though. He's already in full T9, with two +stam trinkets, but only has 37k health. I might be able to squeeze 60 stamina out of regemming, but that's about it.

Who's going to take a tank to ICC10 at barely 38k health unbuffed and 4800 GS? Nobody.

So I'm left with having to take my Druid through fail ICC25 runs in a weak attempt at getting the trinket, bracers and a new weapon. Oh, and some Marks.

We got her on the first try despite ourselves.

The priest forget to spec into holy, and healed the thing in disc. She also never found the portals and stayed out the whole time healing the dragon. We forgot we had Heroism too.

After 7 minutes the only one left standing was the Kitty Druid and the dragon.Smiley: lol

Heh - well, legally, I'm not old enough to drink, but there's nothing to stop me from being bored or entertaining…especially at the same time! Smiley: waycool

I don't think that I'll have trouble fitting in here at all. My druid isn't 80 yet, so I'm sure that I'll have at least some druid-related things to ask or talk about in the future.

Anyway, as part of my first official post in this thread, I present to you all this gigantic image that would take up too much room were it to be embedded directly into the post:

It goes well with the caption, don't you think?

I don't know how drinking laws work around where you live, but I think that here the legal drinking age is 0, you're just not allowed to buy anything alcoholic until 16 and nothing stronger than 14% until you're 18.

Also, that's a pretty cool image.

Don't the US have drinking age laws? That's why, in those high school movies, when the police comes knocking on the door, everyone splits.

Here you're allowed to buy alcohol at 16 (any alcohol) and tobacco at 18.

Yeah, it's very different in the United States. You can't legally buy or consume alcohol until age 21. And yet, you can sign up for the military at age 18.

Ya, nothing before 21 here, or you can get yourself into trouble.

Usually just a warning or a small fine or something unless you're causing problems. The person who gave it to you gets in trouble too, often it's worse for them.

We don't really have a culture of responsible drinking over here... Smiley: rolleyes

See, we're sensible people here.
Alcohol as per the above, tobacco at 16, weed at 18, driving at 18 (scooters at 16) and I think it's 18 for the army as well.

Edit: drinking age also goes for any public place.

Army duty was fun, but then again, I signed up voluntarily. We get drafted at 18, but I pulled a get-out-of-army-free card back then. Didn't sign up until I was 21, so I was older than some of the sergeants ordering me around.

Still, playing soldiers and bad guys for four months was interesting.

My great granddad was a general, my granddad was a captain (I think), my dad was a sergeant and I'm not going anywhere near the army.
I like to see that as a positive evolution.

I play warrior mostly, but I can pretend I'm a bear, cause we both use rage, or something. But I've got a 40 druid, and for some reason, tanking randomly got easier, I'm not rage starved any more. It's odd.

Please let me pretend I'm a bear

Bears tank nude and have big hairy butts.

If that describes you then yes, I believe the term 'bear' would be accurate. Smiley: nod

Once I reroll on the NA servers, I'll probably play a druid instead of a warrior. I like tanking on my druid so far. But I do love warrior tanking. I'm torn.
