I was wondering what professions would benefit a warrior the most? I was thinking maybe blacksmithing or jewelcrafting, I'm not really sure which would be a good compliment. Maybe even alchemy? Or inscription? Something, anything. Any direction any of you can give me would be great. Thanks

Jewelcrafting has great stat bonuses (the best of any prof) and is a good moneymaker too. BSing is the second best from a stat perspective.

I use both, but if you want a money-making one to go along with JCing most of them will work fine. Past history says Herbalism will likely remain a stronger moneymaker though.

while hard to raise both, herbalism + mining is a hard combo to beat.

An instant heal and a very nice health bonus makes for a much harder to kill tank! And you have plenty of $-making potential.

instant heal for leveling maybe. The healing at lvl80 is laughably low compared to a tank's (or even DD's) average HP.

The HP boost is not big but nice to have. every HP helps.

If you go for utility, what might benefit you best, I'd go for mining&skinning.
For money making, I dunno. I THINK Herbalism might be better.

Anyways, I have Mining and BS, just because I was like that when I first started my warrior. The 2 extra gem slots are nice. If you don't care about getting the mats yourself, I think JC/BS would make a good combo.

Currently the best combo in game for raiding.

First toon? Take up two gathering skills, skinning, herbalism, or mining, and come back to this question when you're higher and want the other benefits.

Right!! Why was it that we all assumed that the OP is asking about which professions give warriors the most benefits for endgame? Maybe he wants to know the best professions for leveling. :D

Mining, Herbing and Skinning, are the best on the money. You can pick your crafting profession later after you already have a large pile of gold standing on your bank that you can use to level your crafting profession. Or you can use it to pay your way to an albino drake.

The crafting professions aren't very useful until you reach endgame. Except maybe engineering which is fun while leveling but it's probably the worst for endgame.

For a first toon, I'd suspect that the choice would be (mining OR herbalism)and skinning. The reason for not taking mining and herbalism is that only one type of resource can be tracked at one time, making it more difficult to raise both in a timely manner.
