My First DKFollow

I created my first DK the other day. Just looking for suggestions on specs. I am probably going to be mainly using him on raids and in groups.

Any advice will be appreciated.

I am thinking of going Unholy, if that helps.

I made my first DK a while ago and he is 61 and specced unholy. IMO its crazy how OP they are, AoEing is awesome as unholy and i will probably stay that spec till 80.

They get less OP over time. You just think they are right now because you have a full set of blues and an enchant on your weapon. :P

I went blood, but that was before doing any research whatsoever, and I haven't had any problems.

I hear that unholy is best suited for leveling at the moment, though.

If I was leveling a second DK, and was only allowed one spec up to 80, I would go Blood. While I never took Rune Tap (I don't know why, but I hate that ability), Blood Worms, Mark of Blood, Blood Aura and my normal +damage and +healing it Blood Presence just made everything so easy.

Plus, you can solo most equal-level or slightly higher elites much easier. True, Unholy gets a pet, but unlike with Hunters that pet has a lot of trouble keeping aggro. I just always use it for damage while kiting an elite when solo. Otherwise, I keep its CD up so that I can sac it for a huge heal after I go through 3-4 groups of mobs without healing or using DS (as Frost, so I don't have the additional healing).
