Tanking continuously spawning addsFollow

A continuous stream of adds like on the Brann event in HoS or phase one of Gothik is the aspect of tanking that I seem to have the most trouble with. The longer the fight goes on the harder I find it to drop DnD or Howling Blast to pick the mobs up. Oddly enough I don't seem to have much of a problem with the Gauntlet in UP, But there tends to be a bit of a gap between waves (if you can call two mobs a wave). Any suggestions as to the best way to continually pick up adds? Right now I'm mostly just trying to keep DnD down, spread frost fever with the occasional howling blast, but I devolve into button smashing towards the end.

Relevant stats: 541 Defense, 8.78% hit, 23.69% Dodge, 18.95% Parry, 16 Expertise. My current build (which will no doubt make some people cry but I'm open to changes so suggest away) is this11/51/10. I mostly tank heroics with a few forays into 10 man Naxx (but I've been lucky enough to get the four piece).

Edited because I'm a dolt and linked the wrong talent build.

With a Shaman, your build is fine. Without it, you are losing quite a bit of threat and lowering your party's DpS, but it shouldn't be much of a factor at your level (and the threat is single-target).

Just try to remember to budget your runes for DnD. If you don't have one, get a CD timer so you know how long you have. Maybe sacrifice 2 points from Bladed Armor and put it in Morbidity if you are really struggling.

Remember to Pest all mobs with new diseases.

Remember to Dark Command* and Death Grip two adds.

*When you lose one or if it starts out aggroing someone else.

Try and budget your KBs for HB if possible. I see you have DC, try and use it when adds spawn and you don't have a KB proc.

Remember to switch targets occasionally. Your rune strikes only give threat to one target. Even if you just click over to another for that one attack, it is much more worthwhile on a new add than an old mob.

And, most importantly, keep cool. Button mashing = death. Try creating macros to let you do many of the things you need, so devolving into smashing will at least get some of the things done you actually want.

Finally, are you not downing the mobs fast enough? If your DpS can take them out faster, that may relieve some of your stress.
