Well, I'm back to wow AGAIN! Had a break for a few months now, and I've decided to play again. I have a warrior at lvl 75, currently prot specced, and I am going to continue staying prot. However, I want to be able to dish as most damage as possible with a prot orientet spec, so, what should I go for?

If you can guide me to a spec and stats who you consider valuable, it would be greatly appreciated.

Man, it feels good to be back!

Heya, I'm not very sure of what I'm doing myself but I'm going with this so far...

It's not a tanking spec but an attempt at a PvP prot spec.

The build makes Devastate costs so little rage that a straight devastate spam results in rage going up more than it goes down, I spam it for Sword and Board procs. Devastates crit a lot too.

The damage on my Shield Slam is a bit disappointing. But maybe it gets better once I switch some AP items to str items.

It seems to be a problem to find str for some slots, since most dps necks, rings and cloaks are made with AP instead of str. I don't know how much it would hurt really to go with defense items on those slots.

I think I'm going to get a crafted shield and a shield spike as soon as I hit 73.

For where you are now, go with 10/5/51. Put the next 5 points into Impale and Deep Wounds.

In general, you want to stack Shield Block Value whenever possible. Other than that, go for damage stats (STR/Crit in particular); the damage should be quite high and you'll fully block most hits, which is a huge boost in mitigation.

Thanks for the help.

I've finally dinged 80 here the other day. And it feels good. I'm back on top :D I've decided to stay prot. That way I can easily enjoy PvE and PvP. I just got the entire Savage Saronite set crafted, so I do OK in BG's. I have yet to try arena.

I still have a few questions. What should my stats look like for heroics? And for Arena? And who would be my best partner in a 2v2 arena team? Is my build OK?

here's my armory:
Thorûr

I am currently in my PvE set. I am planning to get the Tempered Titansteel pieces and the Titansteel Shield Wall. What other upgrades might I need?

Or better, point me to another post where I can get my answers :D

Arenas are just a fail part of the game. They are broken, unbalanced, crappy and the only reason to do them at all is the gear rewards. If you still want to do arenas you and your arena teammate need to roll new characters.

If you want to play at arenas you should OBVIOUSLY play a Paladin - DK team. If you're not playing a Paladin - DK team you're wasting your time.

The DK should be Unholy Frost or you're wasting your time.

The paladin should be 37/0/34 or Holy or you're wasting your time.

Add blacksmithing and jc on both chars to boost stats as much as possible through the extra sockets + extra gems.

I don't know which are the best racials but BE for both is probably the best. They should be female because they are a bit smaller and harder to click.

Ah, note, since different patches change things you may need to replace your arena characters afters the patch.
