I have a DK. (Only 70, but come on.)
I was sitting around toying with 3.1 specs and came upon one that I think could be really great. Leveling my DK I know the importance of Oblit, and how right now Diseaseless Blood is the best, because of Oblits and Heart Strikes.
But hey, Blood is losing that 45% Oblit crit damage in 3.1 and guess who's getting it. Frost.
I'm not gonna spend forever explaining it, here it is.

Bonuses: 32% Oblit crit from just talents.
Frost Strike, a nice RP dump. (I think, not entirely sure, never been Frost that deep)
Nice cooldowns. Deathchill, Unbreakable Armor & Mark of Blood.
I've talked this over with a friend who also has a DK (76) but I think we can grasp the mechanics enough to know a good spec when we see it.
The rotation would go like this.
(Fight starts)
-Blood Strike x2, making Death Runes
-Oblit x2, making Death Runes
-Frost Strikes
-One IT
-One PS
-Oblit x2
(Repeat)
Or
(Fight starts)
-Blood Strike x2, making DR's
-Oblit x2, making DR's
-Frost Strikes
-IT x2
-Oblit x2
(Repeat)
Basically the only difference is a Plague Strike, for the disease. The question is, is the extra disease damage multiplier on Oblit worth the low damage Plague Strike? Or would another strong IT be better?
For that matter, could you just go:
(Fight starts)
-Blood Strike x2, making DR's
-Oblit x2, making DR's
-Frost Strikes
-Oblit x3 rest of the fight with Frost Strikes for dump
And do better?
