Overheal????Follow

Basically, any amount of healing that puts the target above 100%. 100% is the max, so anything over that is wasted. Healing over the max is called "overhealing", and is generally something you want to avoid. It shouldn't be as high on your priority as say, keeping people alive, but avoiding it will increase your mana efficiency.

You answered my question completely, and yes, I read that thread which is why I asked the question. It seemed like lot of chat about something so simply explained. I'm still not sure why that thread made such an issue about the topic.

But basically, use your heals wisely to save mana! Other than that, are there any other negative effects to "Overhealing"....I mean statically, or aggro...etc..etc...
