Aldor or Scryer for DK? :: Free Realms

You won't be in Outland long enough for it to matter. I went Scryer so I could jump off the tier for the falling 65 feet achievement (well, and the tier is more accessible).

I'm curious as well....

I never levelled through outland until after wrath was released so I missed the whole aldor v scryer thing the first time round and have no idea of each faction's bonuses etc. I'd at least like to make a passing effort at it for my DK.

Are DK-beneficial items spread between both factions or is one clearly better than the other?

I picked Aldor because I was jewelcrafter and the trainer was in the Aldor sector.

The closest thing to a DK beneficial item would be the Aldor Tanking Chest Vindicator's Hauberk, but given the ease of acquiring a Cobalt Chestpiece it's hardly worth grinding it out. I suppose if you were rich or didn't mind grinding mobs on an alt you could get enough of the rep turn in items to get your DK to exalted and thus have access to the shoulder enchants, which are roughly equivalent to the honored Sons of Hodir enchants.
