The tier 8 has been mined from mmo-champion here.

The 2-set bonus as of now(It could always change) increases the damage done by your Unstable Affliction and Immolate spells by 20%

So my question to you(I can't theory craft or run numbers) is does this mean we get Immolate back in the Affliction rotation again?

We lost the %5 buff from shadow's embrace and 20% from haunt, but we gain 20% back due to the bonus. We lose 10% from Molten Core but we could gain 6% back from Aftermath. Unless I'm missing something that means we lose roughly 9% of the damage from the immolate spell, but would it still be worth using? I havn't been keeping track of many of the Warlock changes but this set bonus caught my eye.

Immolation and Unstable Affliction are now in the same exclusive category (both damage over time effects cannot be present at the same time by the same caster on a target).

Seems affliction will have UA and destro and demonology will have immolate.

Blizzard's way of simplifying a rather simple rotation into absolute ez-mode.

unless they've changed it back... you can't have both UA and Imm on the same target at the same time, so unless they've changed it.. Imm is definately out of the rotation... IF they have changed it back to how it is now... well even without the 20% bonus, prior to 25% (maybe 35%), i think immolates dpsc will still outweigh that of shadowbolt, just with the changes (and even this 2set), after 25% you'll want to drop it from the rotation.

oh and ccbutch, it's 10% damage from shadow embrace

Damn, I enjoyed the amount of spells that go with the current affliction rotation, I completely forgot about the exclusive category thing, kinda sucks.

It's all part of Blizzards BTPNTS (Bring The Player, Not The Skill) policy or how they called it.

But then again, we benefit from it in fights that have shorter periods where we can dmg the boss. (although I can't really think of a major raid fight that would fit the bill. Only heroic bosses and for me as a casual player, heroics are much too serious business to even consider them)
