Is the set Mograine wears in Ebon Hold.

Is anyone else bothered by this?

He's pretty much the de-facto leader of the Ebon Blade, and we get to wear the same armor as him as a middle-ground raid armor.

If they were gonna put it in the game at all, they should have put it in when we get to raid Icecrown Citadel.

Would have made perfect sense if they had left him in Naxxramas, right? Plundering his stuff after killing him...

WoW lore is such a ridiculous mess, it's really not worth bothering with. Somehow I wish they'd put ONE guy in charge of setting all those stories straight for once and keeping an eye on things for further expansions and whatnot, similar to the way George Lucas is watching over his Start Wars stuff.

Short response would be: I really don't give a sh*t. Looks nice enough, so let me have it...

Smiley: dubious

Really bad example to use.

He's pretty much the originator of retconning.

For those that have no idea what your talking about Link

Also Gear set bonuses are as follows
Item - Death Knight T8 Melee 2P Bonus (Class: Death Knight) -- Increases the critical strike chance of Death Coil and Frost Strike by 5%.
Item - Death Knight T8 Melee 4P Bonus (Class: Death Knight) -- Increases the bonus damage done per disease by 20% on Blood Strike, Heart Strike, Obliterate, and Scourge Strike.

Working on the stats.

Other thoughts
I liked the Rogues and Priests gear the most

Peace

Just wondering... is any of the new stuff animated other than a bit of shine and glow?

Nah.

You can check out Mograine next time you're in Ebon Hold to see how the gear is gonna look.

The sad thing is is that they do.

She's REALLY weird. You can see her on the CE DvDs.

Well, the obvious thing to say is that the Lich King isn't going to sit around and not upgrade his armors/gear?

If they left it till Icecrown raids, I would have been pretty disappointed to be honest.

And, btw, the 4 piece tanking bonus is pretty damn sexy.

The 2 piece is nice, too, of course.

My roommate has already picked up two of the tanking swords from 10 man Naxx so he can look more like him when he has his Ulduar gear. Smiley: laugh

I wouldn't say we have the SAME armour.
After all, my DPS shoulders have very different stats to my tanking shoulders...

Maybe this is Blizz'(s?) way of telling us that the reusing of armour models is going to continue all the way through Wrath?

Everyone knows that looks are more important than stats, noob. Smiley: rolleyes

It's not that weird. They can hardly design a totally unique armour set for every semi-major character in the game.

Several mage characters in Dalaran already wear the mage T8, and I'm pretty sure I've seen the warrior T8 on an NPC somewhere. The paladin/warrior PvP sets are all over Icecrown on Alliance NPCs. You have to expect some element of reuse.

Yeah, but it's not the penultimate (or next to) mage in the game wearing T8.

Mograine is pretty much the second most powerful DK in the game next to Arthas.

While I agree with you Theo, this isn't the first time they did that. Malfurion is shown, I believe, wearing the Cenarion Druid set. And that is a Tier ONE raid set, lol.

I wish the main characters in the game had unique models with unique gear, honestly. It is part of the reason you're like "whoa" when you see them. I mean, no BE can get Alextrasza's gear, lol.

Meh...
