I took my druid into a PuG OS25 the other day, and after a couple of fights the other feral whispered me asking how my dps is so good. I can't run dps meters in 25s (crappy computer) but a look at his gear suggested to me it was just the gear difference, maybe some needed +hit and expertise. We agreed to talk after the run.
So after Sarth I did 3K and he did 2K, I figure that's a good showing and we'll start fine-tuning his spec. I ask about his attack rotation:
"Rake, mangle to 5, rip, rake, mangle to 5, ferocious bite, repeat."
... well there's the problem. 3 minutes explaining Shred and Savage Roar to him, and I'm on my way without needing to nitpick gear or anything. With that rotation I'm kinda surprised he was doing so well with his gear.
