Just here to make sure iam on the right path with my rogue. A mutilate [i've always been assas at heart since i joined WoW and made my rogue] pve rogue.

in december, my laptop broke and i recently got it back from the service station in the same condition it was when i sent it. I connected my pc moniter to it [the laptops monitor is smashed] and its been working fine since then [effectively turning my laptop into a desktop]. ARound sunday before last, i logged on WoW with a fresh sub at lvl 74 in grizzly still doing the alliance only quests on west side of the maps [hadnt reached my brothers from sentinel hill yet]. last sat i dinged 80 in zuldrak after returning the bear gods power to him. I had not entered the basin, icecrown, borean or storm peaks for any sort of questing yet. I just finished everything in zul, have started on borean for tuskarr rep. On 80, i purchased what upgrades i could from the AH.

I just started heroics yesterday. My hit was 35. found that deplorable [not to mention my dps was stuck at around 1177 in heroics] and did around enough heroics to get 25 emblems in a day and obtained a few items with hit on and gem slots for hit. iam 150-ish now.

This is currently me.> current gear and talents are viewable.

Pre raid Gear plans are.

Helm - Mask of the Watcher [Heroic Ocu]; ferocity ench on this till ebon rep is up [disadv of dinging too early]. 21ag3%crit meta, +16hit gem

Neck - Pendant of the outcast hero obtained

shoulders - Trollwoven Spaulders. Obtained from the AH. Aldor enchant till my Hodir is up. [another casualty of early ding]

Chest - Crystal infused tunic. Obtained. 51 hit very attractive. both gem slots have +16 ygem. +10 stats ench soon

Cloak - Ice Striker's cloak. Obtained from the AH. major agility ench soon

Bracers - Dragonfiend bracers. Working up rep. [currently honored] .Greater aassault enchant soon

Gloves - Gilt-Edged Leather Gauntlets.obtained

belt -Trollwoven Girdle. Obtained. inserting socket, +16 hit gem
To be replced by the Croc emblem belt.

pants -Gored Hide Legguards from Gundrak. Throwing on the leg enchant.

Boots- Boots of the Whirling Mist seem good till i get exalted with argent crusade [honored now]. +10hit/critrate frostwalker enchant

Ring 1 - Hemorrhaging Circle from Gun
ring 2 - Mobius band from Cull

Trinket 1 - mirror of truth. Emblems. Obtained
Trinket 2 - Red Dragon's Blood trinket obtained

melee weapons - i bought dual librarians. [should i throw on enchants?].
Ranged weapon - Drake-Mounted xbow from UK. Drops from Gordon Brown. Update: Obtained.

Glyphs

major - Rupture, vigor, garrote [to be replaced with muty in 3.1]

minor - jesus sprint, not sure about the other 2. mostl likely vanish and either picklock/safe fall [for hte least useless choices >>]

You don't need glyph of vigor, as you don't spec into vigor, and you should be using glyph of Slice and Dice. Garrote isn't that important.

I would highly recommend you spend the 40 badges for the Mirror of Truth ASAP, not only is it better than both the trinkets you've listed, but it really is one of the best trinkets currently available (right up there with FotFF and Darkmoon Card: Greatness). That and I think it'd be fairly easy to acquire (especially if you have less-than-great luck on drops)

Now this may be incorrect, but from everything I've seen, you're gemming for pure hit. Which may or may not be a great plan, especially if you intend on making your meta-gem work (when you get it). As always, consult the spreadsheet for most accurate information.

Though this may just be my opinion, I really don't think your UI does much more than a stock UI, you have everything in the same places (more or less) and very little is changed up to make you more effective/efficient in combat. Perhaps moving your player and target frames more towards the center for easy viewing and drastically reducing the size of your action bars would yield better results (in both PvE and PvP)

EDIT: Included link to the mirror.

ah yes i do intend to change the gems when i get my meta :3, by then i should ahve enough hit from other items.

Thanks for the suggestion on te trinket, i wasnt even aware of its existance [slipped through my research ><, for shame..]

ccurently my UI lets me see more of my surroundings, plus i have a greater deal of button slots.

perl has a miniature health/cp and target window that appears at my feet when i aggro.

On your advice, i have reduced the size of my UI interface significantly [about the dimenions of the curser itself]
