Progress Report - Best Night of Raiding EverFollow

#1 Mar 18 2009 at 7:02 AM Rating: Excellent
This post is one part 'look at my new shinies' and one part 'thank you for your advice'. Starting with the latter first, I want to thank all of the knowledgeable folks on the hunter forums for taking time to help players of modest ability, such as myself, fine tune their gear/stats/shot rotations. You have made a huge difference in not only my performance but also in the amount of enjoyment I get from playing. I have the confidence to raid on a regular basis now thanks to you. /salute

So I decided to PuG VoA-10 & -25 and OS-10 & -25 last night. I've had some crappy luck in terms of loot up 'til now. Either the drops are for other classes or I'm one of 5 hunters rolling and the RNG hates me. So when I found myself as the only hunter in the group for OS-25 I practically got wood! I was rewarded with this shiny new helm. *does happy dance* Later that evening In VoA-10 I topped the damage meter for the first time ever! It may not be such a big deal for others who routinely do this, but it was huge for me. At that point I was so hyped up I decided to PuG H VH and ended up getting upgrades for my boots and gloves.

Well, thank you for letting me share. I'm running off to buy a lottery ticket now. ;)

nice work. I'm still working on getting my helm. I have all the KT loot though, so that's good. I haven't been able to raid much at all lately, but When 3.1 goes live I should be done school so I'll have more time. Woot for last term ever! (unless I get another degree or go for my masters.
