I want to give my warrior another shot, and I don't mean I'm going to shoot him. Just looking for advice from the experts, anything you can think of that would make my life easier. Here's the plan so far, I don't want to wait until I get to 80 and say "I should have done this differently" because I'm not going to be doing this twice.
Current situation: Dwarf warrior with burning crusade Engy headpiece and a bunch of old level 70 honor reward gear. Some of it wasn't even enchanted. The gems are the old blue quality str-sta gems mixed with a few str-crit I think.
I'm trying to go with prot.

Major G's of Rapid Charge, of Devastate and at 80 will probably add of Blocking. Minor G's of Battle, of Charge, of Bloodrage.
The aim is to get it to be very tough and very hard to kill in PvP. I hope I'm able to kill other people who quest in the same areas as me, otherwise they will kill me. Piercing Howl should cover the lack of a hamstring in Def Stance. Hopefully I'll learn how to PvP as prot in the process of questing.
For professions I got Minning and Engi, up to level to mine cobalt nodes and make cobalt grenades. I have frost grenades, net projector and gnomish poultrizer lying around for any PvP encounters while I quest. I'll make some discombobulators too if I can get some jades.
Also maxxed in Cooking and First aid so it should be easy to keep up Wel Fed buffs from whatever beast loot drops along the way.
I guess first stop would be to get a decent 1-h mace and shield since it was arms when I last played it.
So, what would be the advice before I mess things up?
