Rogue Assassination RotationsFollow

I noticed in a few posts people are kind of confused and after reading I am confused as well on certain rotations.

Usually I go on trash mobs with 3 or less:

WP/WP > Stealth > HFBx3 > Garrote > SnD > Mutilate till 4-5 CP > Evis.

With 3+ More trash mobs, I usually go:

WP/WP > Stealth > HfBx3 > Backstab/Ambush for one point > FoK spam > Deadly Throw if caster in group

Bosses:

DP/IP > Stealth > HfBx3 > Garrote > SnD > Mutilate till 4-5 CP > Rupture. I refresh HfB if its getting low, then I use Envenom to refresh SnD timer. Rinse and repeat.

Anything I am doing wrong?

On trash I generally forget about garrote, although w/ the new patch you'll have to. I usually open w/ mutilate x2 to max on overkill and if i get a crit combo point...snd, otherwise mutilate > snd then start rotation. (this is for raid mobs). I pretty much ignore everything other than keeping hfb up in heroics because everything dies so fast on single target it seems energy-wasteful to bother snd unless I finish the last one off w/ a 3pt snd and refresh on the next set of mobs.

It really depends on what I'm doing. Here's a few examples of where I'd use poisons other than instant/deadly on fast/fast.

Sartharion 2/3 drake: Have a set of weapons with 2x anesthetic for when the adds tank starts crying for mercy in vent. FoK to tranq all of the fire adds in a few GCD's, then swap back to dps weapons and get back on the drakes.

AoE: I rock two 1.8 speed daggers with wound/wound, use tricks and cold blood and an ap /use trinke and grim toll. Rawr.

Heroic trash: Wound/wound probably isn't a bad idea, I haven't run heroics in a while though ._.
Raid trash (abominations and the constructs in grobbulous's room come to mind): IP/Deadly, they live way too long for wound to be worth it.



As far as rotations, there's really two.
AoE: Ticks of the Trade -> FoK FoK FoK FoK FoK FoK FoK..
Single target: HFB -> Stealth -> Garrote/ambush -> SnD then 4+ rupture/4+ envenom
