Hunter (Skills List / Talent + Glyph Calc.)

Survival
Wyvern Sting cooldown has been lowered from 1.5min to 1min.
Frost Trap now slows down the enemy by 50%. (Down from 60%)
Resourcefulness now also effects Black Arrow.
Entrapment changed to - When your Frost Trap, Immolation Trap, Explosive Trap and Snake Trap are triggered you entrap all afflicted targets, preventing them from moving for 2/4/6 sec.

Beast Mastery
Animal handler now increases the duration of your Master's Call effect by 6sec. (Down from 10sec)

Marksmanship
Wild Quiver now deals 80% weapon nature damage. (Old - 80% Nature damage, wording change?)
Concussive Barrage changed from 3 to 2 ranks, now gives your successful Chimera Shot and Multi-Shot attacks a 50/100% chance to Daze the target for 4 sec. (Old - 2/4/6% chance on Auto Shot, Multi-Shot, and Volley)
Efficiency now reduces the Mana cost of your Shots and Stings by 3/6/9/12/15%. (Up from 2/4/6/8/10%)

Glyphs
Glyph of the Monkey has been removed.
Glyph of Mend Pet has been added - Increases the healing done by your Mend Pet ability by 40%.
Glyph of Raptor Strike - For 3 sec (down from 5 sec) after using Raptor Strike, you take 20% less damage.G

I'm surprised by the concussive barrage change. I guess it's not the stun from the old TNT, but it'll be interesting to have a guaranteed daze in addition to the current daze. Won't make kiting harder.

Entrapment changes sound really fun, most of the Survival stuff does actually--I know I stayed BM even for the nerf but it seems like Survival is going to be fun enough I might switch over and play around with it once 3.1 hits. (Until I can afford dual spec, anyway.)

I am curious about this one--is this a major glyph aimed at pet tanking, or a minor glyph to replace the broken one we already have? I'm getting tired of one of the only decent minor glyphs being completely useless for BM spec.

I hope the mend pet is minor. I haven't really found any decent minor glyphs to use.

the mend pet glyph is major.

Also some preliminary testing shows that FA now transfers hit to pets.

No Monkey?? Wow... the only chance I had against pallies has been taken out. Also helped a dumpload while kiting in naxx. I guess they are making up for it in other things i spose.

likely because naxx is a joke? No one I know actually reglyphs for it anymore.

What it actually says is:-

I read that as the Monkey Glyph will appear as the Mend one after the patch.

I didn't have the Monkey one but the Mend sounds like a useful addition for soloing. I'll make myself a Monkey one and see what happens when the patch hits. Smiley: smile

Back in the day when kiting Drakki was all the rage (when UBRS took 10 people) it would have been nice to get a Cheetah speed boost without having the dazed effect. But from what I hear about Northrend instances there isn't much of that sort of thing needed any more.

Meh, you really don't need to gimp yourself on 14/15 encounters for a slightly easier time on 1/15.
The only times when kiting gets hard on gluth is the last few zombies before a decimate.
But that should not occur more than twice (or if your guild has been doing naxx for a while, once).

Having a priest heal you helps though, priests can shackle the zombies that get loose when it gets crowded and hard to target the new ones.

I use it for both mainly because I dont bother re-glyphing for naxx. And it does help with gluth... alot i find... Im sure u may have had an experience with monkey on gluth and would have noticed how much easier it is. I gained an extremely good rep on my realm for my kiting of gluth in a 10 man which i attribute to monkey glyph. I solod it with the healer only healing me 3 times in total. at the end i had about 10ish stacks on me. I becomes extremely nice when solo kiting in 10 naxx when you can put down a frost trap and run fast enough around the trap effect without being hit by the zombies. Whack on monkey and as soon as the run speed is ready again just allow one swing and your off again. Thats how i use it against gluth and it works very nicely. in 25 naxx it doesnt really matter since our guild usually has one kiter for each grid so there is always enough to keep gluth unhealed.

I never have mana issues so there is no real need to replace it with any other glyph. SS glyph would be nice for when i change to MM but as i said before - im not the re-glyphing type so i guess i will continue to exploit monkey until blizz takes her away...

I for one am looking forward to the changes - Ill be going straight back to MM for raiding and change back to surv for pvp. With the changes to the tree MM have effectively gained i think 4 additional talent points to spend elsewhere + + + everything else.
