Turning off Cleave, etc.Follow

#1 Mar 12 2009 at 5:59 AM Rating: Decent
Been playing as a Warlock for 3 years now. Kinda' a noob as I just finally understand purple gear, instances to get the gear, rep to get the gear, etc.. so somehow made it to 80 without doing dungeons (married with kids, don't have time). I keep reading on here how other people playing Locks will "turn off cleave".. etc.. how in the world do you do that? Probably really easy answer and I just miss it! Thanks in advance for all those who reply!

Right click the ability "Cleave" on your pet action bar. It will lose the golden edging around the ability and only be used if you left-click it manually or right-click it to turn auto-cast back on.

pointless doing so, last i remembered cleave and other such 'aoes' which work along the same mechanic have been changed so they won't hit CC'd targets.. so can leave it on

Wow.. see, told ya it would be something simple. Geesh. lol lol Thanks both of you for your responses! Greatly appreciate it. Now, if I can just have somebody tell me how to get gear, and where.. lol. Guess that's another post though.

Do instances and raids, to get better gear.

You could also do battlegrounds, to get honor points and marks, which can be exchanged for PvP gear.

The "Ascendency" suffixed Hateful gear has hit, as does the Titan Forged gear out of Wintergrasp. All are PVP, but look pretty good for raiding too.
