I was just wondering now, could the change to IMP Mark of the Wild be considered an indirect buf to restoration druids (albeit minor)? My thinking on this is related to how many druids said ferals shouldn't pick up the talent because a resto was going to have it anyway. Could resto's just give it up for a better talent betting on ferals to gift the raid instead, or is the extra 2% stats going to be the best thing they can pick up for the stats anyway? if the answer is obvious, I'm sorry about that
I've had 2/2 IMotW and 3/5 Furor for months now.
Resto's will also take it as always and boomkins may as well now.

I think it's just their way of giving druids a very minor buff and making sure that every druid brings a boosted GotW to a raid setting.
I'm usually 2/2 Imp mark and 5/5 furor as a boomkin.
The only time I've spec'd out of it was for PVP purposes and went 2/3 Nature's Focus.

There is no better talent to choose from that low in the tree for resto druids already, and that's before the stat buff. Hell, that low in the tree restos are already forced into taking the meh worthy nature's focus, because Furor offers no benefits to trees.
The change really will have no affect on Resto specs.
