Diseasless BloodFollow

What is this spec exactly, and what kind of rotation do you use? Is it a single target spec or does it have some AoE potential? Is it better than my 2h frost spec of 15/50/6?

Any of these questions answered would be greatly appreciated

=]

Also, is the 0/32/39 spec still comparable to either of previous specs?

I've never tried it, but from what I've read, the Diseaseless Blood spec looks something like
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jfVMqM0IsfoxzAoZfM0htco
If I missed anything important, someone will point it out.

Apparently requires massively high-end gear. The rotation for bosses is HS, HS, OB, OB, ignoring every other rune-based attack, and then dump runic power.

32/39 is fine for now, but in 3.1, Howling Blast is moving to 51 Frost, and the spec won't work anymore. There might or might not be a new viable DW spec, but I doubt I'll use it. I already vendored my 1Hs after I got Black Ice.

Proper build

Death Rune Mastery is part of the whole point, and I can't believe you skipped it. Instead of using diseases you throw Oblits, then can use 6 Heart Strikes on the next rotation. You actually want to space out your runic power dumps a bit, but that's a slightly more complicated setup.

Also, Bloodworms really really suck and Gargoyle is > DRW, at least for now.

thanks alot for that info. is it true it requires top end gear, i can see it being true, but would like further clarification please.

for now ill stick to my 2h frost build than, maybe start tanking again idk. thanks =]

RP's build is solid, do not miss out on DRM. Personally I prefer DRW to Gargoyle (better weapon scaling). At least I get better results with it but I'm not entirely sure why. I also like to have CE if I'm using the build for Naxx, but that's mainly for pyrotechnics.

Be sure to use the glyph of Blood Strike as it seems to effect Heart Strike as well.

Not as much AoE as Unholy of course but the cleave mechanic really helps in smaller groups (Military wing anyone?).

Blood is arguably the most gear dependent spec we have.

Obli, Oblit, HS --> DC
HS --> DC

32/39 is still a great spec in mid-gearing progression and I flip-flop between 51/0/20 and 0/32/39 (and 0/31/40) for DPSing Sarth and Naxx, respectively.

Good luck!

EDIT: Just noticed the 2 points in Epidemic, I usually put them in Virulence.

I actually just took Ehcks build and fixed the Blood section, plus dropping a point into Gargoyle. I didn't look over Unholy. Building it from the ground up, I end up with this, which drops the points from CE and Epidemic into Virulence.

I didn't take DRM because I recently got into an argument with Dilbrt about this very thing. According to him at the time, you don't use the Death Runes for HS. So I thought, "Why take it at all?"

And is Unholy Blight better or worse than DRW, 'cause that's going to be the new choice soon.

Beta isn't over, there are at least a couple more builds coming to the PTR so I think it's too early to speculate about which will end up on top (with best-in-slot assumed). While mourning the loss of 32/39, I'm kinda hoping for either: A sudden and shocking boon to Frost OR That deep Blood will remain even or pull ahead of deep Unholy.

In the end, progression raiders will do what is most effective. For everyone else it's down to personal choice still.

DRM is absolutely vital to a disease-less Blood build.

Pffft I don't know what you're talking about, I NEVER argue! Anyway, yeah I was more speaking of the actual disease blood rotation because of the new oblit glyph making it better dps (especially with a good weapon), but apparently it holds true for diseaseless too. A word to the wise though, they are nerfing the diseaseless blood spec, and will probably nerf it more in the future. Do not get yourself pigeonholed into only being able to do well if you're dpsing with 2 buttons (oblit/HS), or when they nerf it you'll be left without knowing how to play your class.

HI DIL

And yeah, Diseaseless Blood is going the way of the dodo. I'd suspect that 51/2/18 will be quite good, though; ramp up RP to max and start using some massive Death Strikes, then dump it and raise it to max next rotation with 6 Heart Strikes.

Still too early to tell, if they change the Death Strike glyph again it'll change.

Therioun, question.

When you use Garg, do you pop your trinkets just before? Because, the last I knew, it copies your AP when cast when DRW only scales with your weapon damage.

I could be 100% wrong here, though. I haven't really kept up to date on Garg/DRW recently.
