Gonna hit 80Follow

So I stopped slacking and lvled up my mage finally, now my sham is pissed at me but oh well.

I hate to lvl so I have to zone out when I'm doing it. Now I'm half a lvl away from 80 and haven't really paid any attention to the new changes.

Now I'm going to be needing a spec for 80. I went through all the stickies but couldn't really find anything that's up to date. I'll be doing the normal heroic grind (non-pug) as well as some random BGs for honor and such. I'm going to start out in quest blues mixed in with my S4. I'm going to naxx 10 probably tonight or early next week (loves da guild) so I can get geared up rather fast.

I was looking at going arcane with ele precision in frost so I can get as much +hit with talent as I can since I'm only sitting at 180ish atm. Any of you guys have any other suggestions?

i myself favor an arcane spec 9/10 times I beat most the dps out and most the other mages in my guild dont come close. I use a 60/3/8 spec. only thing you have to be careful of is burning your mp to fast. I use Molten armor in short to mid ranged fights and in extended fights I use mage armor. As arcane you really have to be paying attention though to keep your dps up there. If you want to do high dps and have an easier time doing it go fire spec.
