I knew the rage generation while being shielded, but AFAIK the rage gen on shielded targets is a new (and fairly welcome) change.

yeah, that was a new and very welcome surprise. if (and this is a big if) it pans out, and if (another big if) i can go back to actually DOING things in pvp....then my warrior may remain as my main. its just after so long of being told that "i need more rage" ive gotten quite tired of many classes i face possessing mechanics that literally make me unable to do anything but move and auto attack. i pvp'ed on my DK for some time sunday night and it was great fighting priests and paladins and mages and seeing my attacks be absorbed yet knowing that, despite the abosbtion, i was still generating runic power, and my runes were still refreshing at their normal rate.
