an idea for mutFollow

So I was messing around with the spread sheet trying to determine about going IIV or not, (its only a .47% dps increase assuming the target is always poisoned so I decided ***** it) and as I was messing around with it I noticed that if you could use Instant poison with envenom it's about a 4% dps increase.

So I thought if they wanna buff muti dmg(without making our band aid talent HfB just 20% dmg) they should change deadly brew back to the way it was in wotlk beta, that being that instant poison also applies deadly (and potentially change lethality to 3 points max so that its still a clean 51 point spec).

This came to mind because it would be hard to abuse in pvp because the dots generally ***** with cc's and you lose mind-numbing, wound and crip.

By allowing us to use 2x instant poison, while using dual and keeping deadly poison I'd guess it'd be about a 7-8% dmg increase from where we are now.

I don't know how well this would fall into blizz's plans for mut right now on the PTR, thinking about it, it probably wouldn't work at all... but it's a fun concept that I just felt like putting down.

Sounds interesting but since I'm not a number cruncher I'd have to try it to see.

I like it. It looks like a guaranteed DPS increase that doesn't have a big impact on PvP, unlike all the other questionable changes Blizz has been doing lately.

Post it on the DPS forums as a suggestion, don't think the blues read here too much. Grand idea though, assuming they don't remove wounding->crippling in the process.
