i didnt know it was in there. i read that thread ages ago, before wotlk. didnt see that it was updated, sorry.

also, it took you more time to take that screen and link it than it would have to just answer the question. thanks.

True, but this way is more fun :P Plus it's reusable.

*shrugs*

Some people should be really sure about the content of the sticky before pointing others to it in such a rude and obnoxious way. If you don't have an answer, don't try to cover it up by being an ***.

How about a screenshot of the part in the sticky that actually covers the OPs question?

After possibly spending several hours camping a rare spawn, I'd want to be absolutely sure that my rare exotic pet ends up nowhere but in the stable if I was to try a different spec.

I had a discussion about this very issue with a hunter in my guild tonight who is thinking about a respec but afraid to lose his Spirit Beast somewhere in the process.

Too damn bad that I didn't get the information I needed out of this forum section - even without starting my own thread but instead find my self confronted with the same crap that has been going on around here for a while.

You're not NorthAI. Leave the ripping off of people's head and pissing in their throats to people who are not only actually quite good at it, but also have the KNOWLEDGE to give an answer if they actually want to.

wake up on the wrong side of the bed? It's true that the info is not actually in the sticky (it'll get added shortly, I sent aethien a note. On the other hand the answer is so obvious that if you think about it for a second you'll realize the truth. Even if you are worried, just stable your pet and then you won't be risking anything.

That's 2 posts now without a clear and coherent answer to the OPs question. Only difference being that you're delegating things to Aethien rather than stating the supposedly so obvious yourself.

I see if the answer is not in the sticky the WTF are people saying read the sticky for ?.

You should know better guys than to give misinformation out here.

I am not perfect but at least i try to check what i say is correct and the answer is has been said if exotic pet is in stables it is locked in if you change from BM.

I did answer the question. And I can't edit the sticky so I have to get Aethien to do it. You're not very bright are you. I did go ahead and add the information to the wiki, so at least that's current, although I don't think many people look at that.

WotLK Hunter FAQ (WoW) -> go to the bit on exotic pets and let me know if it's clear enough, if it needs more.

Wow, such anger in this thread. People are just touchy because in the last 2 months this topic has been covered. In addition to what has been said.

When you unlearn your talents, your pet despawns. If you had an exotic out, you will not be able to call it, instead you will need to visit a stable master and swap him out. Once your exotic hits the stable and you aren't specced in BM, you will be unable to shift, transfer or do anything to said pet.

It is in the FAQ now, and for these kinds of questions that can be answered by a simple yes or no, there is a pretty sticky named the HELP ME! thread.
And you can always reply to the FAQ or PM me if you think something is missing from it and I'll take the time to either work it in or explain why I think it shouldn't be in the FAQ.
