Ladies and Gentlemen,
As you can tell from the subject title, I have been away from WoW for a year. My poor Hunter is Talentless right now and I was hoping that somone could throw me a bone on leveling up to 80. As you can tell from my Armory link

http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Garithos&n=Civak

I did alot of PvP with him before I quit. I was a MM Hunter back in the day. I was going to go back to that Build (MM) and go from there but I thought I would ask a few folks here how they were Talanted for the 70 to 80 run.

So if you have the time go check out my Armory link and let me know what Talent Tree would fit me best at this time. I have no problems changing up styles at this time... so throw some ideas out there for me.

Thank you for your time.

Or you could pick a style you like, and just do it?

Leveling doesn't exactly require a lot of science, no matter your level or gear Smiley: tongue

Read over the sticky again, I'm sure you'll notice that the class hasn't changed TOO drastically...mostly some mechanics that only come into play with endgame content.

As for your gear, it won't necessarily be replaced the second you step into northrend like the transition from vanilla to BC, but expect to find green/blue upgrades along the way better than your epics.

I will say, don't forget to get yourself some Glyphs that match your choices of talents (These are also covered in the sticky in detail if you want a breakdown).

Hey, welcome back. Read the stickys. They are there for people who have questions.

I will just give it a run with MM and see how it goes.

I have been reading over the Notes stuck up above but I figured I would put the question out there.

Thanks for the input.

SV is the hot spec to have and it does indeed rock face. I have been spec'd both MM and BM for long periods of time and have recently picked gone SV. I have to say that I am very happy with it... I wish I had lvld 70-80 SV actually,,, mobs die in like 3 seconds and is fun as hell.

I thought leveling as BM was viable?

Yeah, BM+Gorilla (or probably Croc after 3.1) is the best way to level.
But if you don't enjoy BM as much as MM or SV, either of those works fine.

And @ Diathon: SV is the new PvP spec, and PvE spec... it's just awesome ^^

I'd say go for BM 'till 80.

That way you can easily solo most 3-man group quests, which will save you a lot of time.
Plus it's more (a little more) of a challenge completeing the group quests like that.
