So for a while Be.imba.hu was the thing but a while back I was turned on to wow-heroes.com.
I am suprised how few people know about these so I thought I'd share even though it's not really a "hunter" thing but very usefull for any toon. Sharing on this board because this is where 99% of my time is spent.
Extremely useful when trying to set up a pug raid. You can see much more at a glance than the armory shows, like enchants, gems, overall gear score and a window for all raid achievements.
Maybe there's an even better site out there that someone might make me aware of as well.

Unfortunately, all of these sites are worthless. You might as well go to MaxDPS.com if you want to know what the wrong gear upgrades are.

I find wow-heroes to be a very useful site. Not for planning out my gear path or anything, that's silly. What I use it for is essentially a nicer alternative to armory. It summarizes all the gear and shows really clearly what gems people have and what enchants they have. I can go and look at someone and see that they have mostly lower quality gems or enchants in an easier format then armory. I think this is what KDenelor was talking about too. It's essentially armory just in a nicer format.

I never really thought these had anything to do with determining the worth of an item but more the value of a player. I love being able to look at someone and see that they havn't a single enchant and are using all green quality gems BEFORE I invite them to a pug EOE 10 or something.
