Having Sudden Doom firing on its own is really awesome. My DK fights the GCD, especially in Blood Presence. Having that DC go off on its own will make my rotations smoother.

Well since this has veered into history class I'll partake.

Dresden was flattened (more or less) by a combined force of airmen from almost every Allied nation, including Australia and the US, although granted the majority of it was accomplished by the British.

Dresden is an example of what we now refer to as "total war", when we arent talking about Creative Assembly games we refer to this as the full commitment of the entire people against another people. It was the first example of such a war in Europe and led to some pretty unique violations of the Geneva Convention.

Is it right to flatten civilian population centres with thousands of bombers? Not really. Was it right for Germany to launch well over 10,000 rocket bombs and incendiaries against London and its outlying areas, far from any genuine military presence? Not really.

Incidentally, it is quite well perceived that Germany's own foolish campaigns against civilians (the V-2 program, the "Final Solution", various well-funded "paranormal" research projects on terror and mind-control) contributed directly to the outcome of the war. An example would be, over 6,000 V2s were launched, destroying numerous houses, cinemas and swimming pools in London; each one cost more to construct than a long-range four-engined bomber which could be re-used and repaired, and could be directed against any military target in Europe. Had these resources been directed against more appropriate targets, it's highly unlikely England would have stood free.

Moral of the story, don't throw stones in glass houses.

With regards the changes, we will see an overall DPS nerf. First on the chopping block is the 'Diseaseless' Blood spec; most likely it will be useless with the new Strike scaling equations. Conversely, Unholy (not relying on that stupid disease-eating untalented Obliterate) is looking more beautiful than ever.
