I have 4k ap unbuffed and up to 6.5k in raids! I don't know what to do with myself
I've never really raided before wrath and my hunter was my first level 70. If I get another epic my head might explode.

Outside of that, I've been at nearly 7k AP and 100+% crit vs Loatheb and then I'm just in 10 man gear.

hmmmmm... I must be doing something wrong because my gear seems to be around yours or just under it. What priority do you keep your shots in?
I tend to start with explosive-serphent- steady- aimed- steady- explosive- steady- steady- aimed- serphent- steady explosive
and it goes on and on :P
Not to be a spelling ****, but it is spelled "serpent", not "serphent". If that was even a word it would imply that you would pronounce the word "Ser-fent", a little odd don't you think?

Lol, I apologize I type to quick for my brain to keep up. Not to mention I'm a terrible speller unless I use the word often. Finally I would prefer to use snake instead of serpent, oh well though. Ty though for pointing it out.
I know what you mean. In BC I was in a lame guild that never left Kara/Gruul/Mag. Now that Wrath hit I'm in a full on raiding guild, who got me most of my gear in just 2 clears of naxx. Depending on our groups for 25 mans, I can be sitting at a healthy 7k RAP with the hourglass up, and can easily hit 50% crit chance with master tactician procced. At first i couldn't believe what I was seeing when I was raiding, but now it's just kind of average for me.

Keep in mind that Aimed Shot deals a bit more damage than Steady, so you'd want to prioritize it first. (I bolded it) Also, I haven't tested it, but I'd assume that you ought to shoot a Serpent Sting first for the damage buff, and then launch an Explosive Shot.
On the other hand, if you're really interested in boosting your DPS you might want to try trap-dancing. Not only does it break up the monotony of pew pewing, it also increases your DPS by a lot. (Of course at first you'll probably lose DPS until you get used to it, and learn which fights you can dance in)

As while frost trap doesn't deal damage, LnL procs from frost trap aren't affected by the hidden 30 second cooldown on Lock and Load.

Well, right off the bat, you should have a maximum of three shots between any given two explosives. you're showing four shots. That would be an absolutely massive dps loss.

I haven't really tried trap dancing because of the 30 second internal cooldown, my LnL seems to proc every 35-40 seconds. Which it would take me 4-8 seconds to run and place the trap and 2-8 seconds to get back 30 yards away for sniper training. (depending if disengage is on or off CD.) So about 10 seconds for the process which is about 5 auto shots down the drain and at least 3 steady shots.

The hunter GCD is 1.5 seconds. like it always has been. This means that if you are softcapped for haste, you can fit exactly three steadies in between two explosive shots. If you are not haste capped the three steadies will actually take longer then the gap, which is why instant shots are so nice.

Great information to know. Also someone finally like the famous spreadsheet, I'm playing around with it. I expect a 300 to 500 dps increase by naxx tonight.
I've upgraded my shot rotation, going to incooperate a new tactic into dps (trap dancing with FT), going to change my glyphs (at least one of them).
I don't know if I want to send the other hunters in my guild here :P
In naxx I've been top dps by maybe 0.06% or so, wait until tonight what I'm up by nearly 5%!

Don't trap dance until you are really comfortable with your rotation. That's my opinion anyway. I hit 5100 dps without any trouble on patchwerk without any trapdancing, and I'm not t7.5 geared.

I recently Pm'd Aethien to ask for some advice, and of course I got what I was looking for.
FYI Aethien, I have changed those gems as suggested and also my talent tree has been reworked. Took a run at a test dummy with an Ammo pouch then we went and hit Naxx 25 and the kill on Patchy. (He is so my favorite Boss. Big, ugly and lets me rip away with the nuke-tastic from the word go). It was a fail\suck as we did not have enough healers for the job and one new healer along learning the ropes as well, (not bad though as he specced to healer that night on guild request from retri Pala).
What I got from it though was amazing. Topped out the other two hunters and 2nd and 3rd on the list only a short way behind those above.
Thanks for the advice Aethien. Took a trip to Loetheb before that. 109% crit <INSERT BIG GRIN> whoosshhhhh! went the damage meter!! I swear the end of my nerubian conquerer was melting lol.

In raid I buff to about 7150'ish RAP, capped haste and 47.6% crit BEFORE master tactition or anything else procs. When my trinkets and skills proc togather I hit 9200 RAP and 65% crit. This is normal fights, not loetheb or anything silly.
