omg super n00b?! pally help.Follow

ok.. so let's not be bullies about this subject. but, i don't have WoW as of now *gasp* but!! i'm planning on getting it very very very very very very soon. however, i'm not a total noob at WoW i have played, pre bc.

my friends have been pestering me to buy the game again and start back up. i've been reading almost every post on this website in general as well as the pally section. so.. to ask nicely.. can anyone give me some tricks and tips on being the best pally that i can be? i'd prefer to be a tank-ish player... almost like a red mage on ffxi, if anyone gets the connection, but if anyone would like to help me out please feel free.
