Lazy arms build for PVEFollow

Interested to see what anyone thinks of this. I've been playing with this build a bit and so far seems to suit me very well. Then again my play style probably isn't typical so maybe nobody here is interested. I cut the arms skills short because as much as I liked using bladestorm, I found I was saving it for when I needed it in case I picked up an extra mob by accident or whatever. More or less wasted most of the time. I was able to get blood craze which seems helpful but not as much as I had hoped. Basically the whole build is supposed to make the most of instant attacks using a heavy damage two handed weapon. Currently it's the trident I bought from the murloc merchant for 50 clams (literally clams!) Also a priority for me is not having to watch stuff too close, so I have the booming voice to increase the battle shout and demoralizing shout durations, and I hate messing around with switching stances.

I'm wondering why you chose to put 5/5 into Imp. Demoralizing Shout instead of 5/5 into Cruelty. I see that you put 5/5 into Poleaxe spec. for the 5% crit bonus and 3/3 into Sudden Death (which is dependent on crits). Unless you already have enough crit that you can afford not to take 5% crit bonus from Cruelty, I would suggest swapping the 5 points from Imp. Demoralizing Shout into Cruelty.

I guess part of my reason for posting was because I don't know really in detail how everything in the skill tree works. It looked like cruelty would get me a max of 5% increased chance to crit, which doesn't sound like that much compared to being able to reduce attack power by 40%. If that's just wrong thinking or if there's a magic number at which crit comes on strong then that would be good to know. Also I see what you're saying about crit dependant skills. I was going for instant attacks, and didn't notice that I was also working for crits.

Imp. Demoralize doesn't lower the target's AP by 40%, it improves the debuff from Demo Shout by 40%. It's fairly unimpressive.

Cruelty, for a contrast, is one of your best talents.

Cool, thanks much for the info. I'll fix that.

Looking at it again... if you don't want to watch procs, Arms is -really- not the spec for you. If you want a DPS spec with fewer procs, go into Fury.

I tried fury for a bit but didn't feel like it was working well for me. Ok, I hated it. Also it didn't look like what you have there. It was something someone here had posted and I tried it out. I probably didn't give it a fair chance though since it seems like I switched back to an arms build pretty quickly. What sort of rotation would you use with that fury build?

Currently with the build I have I stay in battle stance. Attack by charge most of the time, hit rend and then whatever lights up. In order of preference I'll pick execute>mortal strike>overpower>slam for a typical fight. I might pop retaliation/sweeping strikes/cleave if I get a couple adds or something.

Gear is just a mix of soloable quest and auction house stuff.

Oh hey! I went to try to figure out how to make a character profile and blundered right into the darned thing. Here's the rest of the Dhavin story.

Charge, Bloodthirst, Berserker Stance, Whirlwind. Slam if it lights up at any point, otherwise BT again. It's pretty high damage and you self-heal off Bloodthirst (6% healing every 5s), which is pretty nice for leveling.

Your build is like my I don't use cookie cutter build too offen niether. I would drop endless rage and put 1 point blood rage and agree with previous post about putting 5 points in cruelty.
