Hello everyone. I'm thinking of starting a rogue as an alt of mine. I currently have a level 30 rogue but she's on a different server and I would like to start one on my new server. The question I have is what spec is the fastest to level with and with that spec what kind of gear should I look for and what sort of rotation would I be looking at. I understand that's alot to ask for a character that isn't even made yet but I like to know what types of things im looking for before I go and mess somthing up and end up spending a ton of gold on worthless items.

I guess because the post was made so early in the morning that no one has seen it yet, so for the usual posters who aren't here I'll say what they would have said in the first place:

Read the stickies.

Reading it will answer not only the questions you have, but it'll answer important questions you probably never even thought to ask.

#4 REDACTED, Posted: Feb 21 2009 at 7:10 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Stickie will deffinately help you but I'll put in a couple of cents seeing as I know more about rogue then most classes but sometimes not enough lol. I'm not a number cruncher though I am learning. If your going to solo your rogue then I'd level as combat. First thing is if your human for example head to Stormwind and take first aid, skinning and we'll say mining. Those 2 profs are great for supporting your rogue during leveling. From each trainer buy a skinning knife and a mining pick. Go to the cathedral and pick up first aid. Head to weapons master across from the auction house and pick up sword training.
