Hi, I need HELP!

To be honest, quick and fast fixes for the moment. I have an 80 Pally, and have just decided to dust off my little Hunter, I have always enjoyed playing her but never really optimized her skills and abilities. Now that my pally is decently geared, I like to spend some quality time on her(currently 69).

Currently she is BM spec and my dps is HORRIBLE, somewhere in the 450-600 range, I currently have the wolf out of Ramps and have purchased a few crafted pieces off of AH, my hit rate is currently non-existant, and still in the agi=ap mentality, but have read some here and made some adjustments.

It's a given as I level I will be reading everything on the forum to learn more of the new hunter changes, useful macros and learning to be a better hunter in general.

BUT right now is there any help you guys can give to get my dps up for solo questing?

Do you die a lot during the solo level grind? That, IMO, would be the primary concern... otherwise, just quest in Northrend, replace pieces as necessary, and worry about overall DPS when ya hit 80. I don't recall anything too challenging coming up just following the northrend quests around the map... Make friends with a LW there, and there are some easy to make pieces (70+) that will have you more than quest ready for the new continent.

That dps is fine for an undergeard 69.

AP is better for BM and MM

Agi is better for SV.

Hit cap at 80 is 263 or 8%.

Haste and armor pen are mediocre stats.

just a side note, I'm toping dps in 5 man instances @ lvl 66 with an average (end of dungeon) of 500 dps

solo, with my wolf i'm getting about 375 dps

unless you are working BC heroics you sound like you are right on track as far a leveling goes
