Ok need some expert rogue advice here. I have helped this person for sometime now and well I've posted her armory a few times. She would post on here if she had time. So here I am. All she would like to know is what you experienced rogues think she is ready for. She wants to run naxx but I don't think she's even half geared for it. But I'm no expert lol. Trinkets are the first things that need to be replaced. Seriously, Bladefist's Breath? After that, the Eviscerator's pieces need to go as well.
The gear looks fine for level 80 instances and the easier heroics (UK, Nexus, etc). She should also start doing her dailies for Ebon Blade rep (chestpiece, head enchant), Kirin Tor (dagger), and Wyrmrest (pants?).

A +225 armor enchant on a 800G-cloak? The +20 resilience enchant on chest? Why?
For combat go sword/sword or fist/dagger, not dagger/dagger.

Her MH dagger was given to her. I've tried getting her to try Assasination but she doesn't wanna lose killing spree. Anyways what gems should she work for. I'll go read the stickie again to see if anything comes up. There's a fist weapon she wants from a heroic...just can't remember which one. Its this though is what she is wanting:

That weapon comes from Culling of Strat off of the last boss Malganis.

Even if you're a tank it's not something you want. It's more of a stopgap if you really can't get anything else.
She was told by...well she didn't tell me his name but his main was a hunter...well short story an unexperienced rogue that she needed resil. to do heroics. I'm probably going to have to gear up my hunter and run some stuff with her. She made the mistake night before last in puting together a group for naxx. I kept telling her not to...its not a good idea. But she said it was something she had to do. So an experienced runner/raider skulled her and told her she was unexperienced. She got upset and said she'll never run another instance again.
Me I'm getting more and more interested in raiding etc etc. She's just such a good friend and I know she can do this. It just takes time. Thanks to you all I know what I know about the rogue class. I still am learning as I type. I guess she'll just have to figure this out for herself. Lol

I don't mean to be harsh, but if you really want her to succeed, you need to convince her to read up on her own class.
Had she spent the time she did reading elitistjerks instead of enchanting resilience to her chest, she'd probably be ahead. How much time has she wasted online talking to people who are giving her bad advice - time that she could easil alt/tab out for a couple minutes.
I don't think everyone deserves to automatically go out and kick ***. The difference between the elite and the scrubs is that the good players know their class, research the best gear/combos/enchants/gems, research the boss fights in raid dungeons, and show up prepared as best they can.

Some tanks use it to make up for their lower def. Personally I don't see why. I should have said at the bare minimum a tank might think about it.
When it comes down to it then resilience is not for pve, it was designed for pvp. I wouldn't take it over any other stat.
What's funny is she has time to play the game (and run Naxx for that matter, which takes a few hours minimum), but she doesn't have time to research her own class and not do bad things like use Resilience in PvE (which would have taken all of 20 minutes to look up the simple ins and outs of Rogue). I don't care about "being harsh". I don't believe in helping those who fail to even try to help themselves because holding someone's hand doesn't help them get any better.
