could someone point me in the right direction in finding a gear upgrade for my death knight's ranged/relic slot?

You basically can't get an upgrade until you're 80. If you're leveling, then the starter one is your only option. Once you hit 80 you can get a couple from badges, but the best one (imo) is in naxx.
Depending on spec, either go for the Emblem sigils, wait for Naxx sigils, or get the Venture Bay sigils.
i am 80...and still rocking the one from the starter which badge vendor shoudl i be looking for?
There's one for tanking one for dpsing, you figure it out =p

at level 74 there are 3 venture bay sigils.
2 of them are pretty good (203 damage to scourge strike for one, 203 damage to icy touch for the other).
I don't remember why i didn't get the 3rd one...it wasnt good in my opinion (as a level 80)

thank you all for the help, i was able to toss 15 badges and upgrade to a nice epic dps relic last night.
