I know, I know, famous last words. In fairness, it was my lovely girlfriend who was reading wowhead (no matter how many times I steer her here -- and she says I don't listen??), but I had to go check it out to see what she had read.
Within the thread, here if you're interested, one poster noted a glich [sic] in Focused Aim that, in addition to the effects noted in the talent tooltip, decreased crit chance by 4-5%. Huge, right? Having never come across this nugget on alla in the past, I was suspicious, so I thought I'd bring it straight to you cats.
Fact or fiction?

I just glanced at the EJ one quick, and I'm going to assume that it has something to do with the way our roll system works, or is just a plain bug.
Main take-away from the EJ thread that I saw was that the crit reduction that might be attributable to FA is more like 1% rather than 4-5%. I say "might" because I never saw where they concluded that FA was the cause.
The 4-5% crit chance reduction that was mentioned on wowhead included the ~5% effective crit reduction through Blocks.

There seems to be a 4.8% crit reduction against bosses that has nothing to do with FA. However there is speculation that the hit from FA cannot crit, so you lose (your crit)*3 %
This was unconfirmed last time I looked. However the 4.8% is not from FA, and is confirmed. It's actually all physical damage, so rogues warriors etc see this.
I like wowhead's database, their forums annoy me.
