Warlock PvP Suggestions -- instant ImmolateFollow

Please help me post these suggestions on official forum, thanks a lot!

Warlock PvP Suggestions

1) On pets survival
Health Funnel isn’t useful in PvP because it’s a leash spell, while hunter’s Mend Pet spell is instant. Modifying Health Funnel to an instant spell is a good choice to improve pets’ survival.
Health Funnel
Instant cast 10 sec cooldown
When activated, transfers X – Y health to your pet every sec, lasts 10 seconds and will automatically end if your pet’s health becomes full or empty

Succubus isn’t useful in arena. My idea is as follows:
Lesser Invisibility can be used in battle state and has a 30 seconds cooldown. When activated, the invisibility state lasts persistently unless succubus casts spells, deals damage or takes direct damage.

Soothing Kiss
X Mana 30 yd range
Instant cast 8 sec cooldown
Remove one bleed, poison or disease effect on a friendly target

2) On Destruction Talents
Destruction locks depend on Immolate. Conflagrate and Incinerate needs Immolate to act well. So locks have to read Immolate often. Mages have nice control and anti-control abilities, but mages have to cast instant spells most of time (except Polymorph). Warlocks have little anti-controll abilities so that locks do have little chances to read spells in pvp. I could only use these chances to cast Fear or Immolate, and it’s difficult to cast Immolate for the second time, casting Incinerate or Shadow Bolt without Backlash Buff is like a mission impossible.
Conflagrate is similar to Swiftmend druid restoration talent. They both require another effect on a target and consume the effect. If Swiftmend could only consume Regrowth which is 2 sec cast but not Rejuvenation, I’m quite sure that druids would consider Swiftmend useless.
My suggestion is to modify the talent Improved Immolate:

Improved Immolate
Reduces the casting time of your Immolate spell by 0.5/1.0/1.5 sec. and reduces the chance your Immolate spell will be dispelled by an additional 10/20/30%
.
The initial damage of Immolate could be reduced or even cut to a pure DoT of fire.

I know it’s more like a dream, but it wouldn’t be over power, because you may modify the Immolate damage or cooldown of Conflagrate. If Immolate is still 2 or 1.5 sec cast, Destruction warlocks would no way be useful in arena or pvp, because they could not deal considerable damage at all.

The original Devastation doesn’t looks like a 21 points talent.
Devastation
Increases the critical strike chance of your Destruction spells by 5%. Your Destruction spell criticals have a chance to heal you 50% of the damage. The chance is equal to the critical strike chance of that critical Destruction spell
.
I have thought of several modification plans (some similar to Vampiric Embrace), and I think this one fits your philosophy on lock best. You may change the healing percentage for balance.

I’d like to add an extra effect on Backdraft:
Backdraft
When you cast conflagrate, you have 33/67/100% chance to remove all effects that increase your cast time. And the cast time and mana cost of your next three Destruction spells is reduced by 10/20/30%, lasts 15 sec
.

3) On Demonology Tanlents
I wish you would integrate these talents: Improved Imp, Improved Succubus into Demonic Brutality. Talent points are so limited that we have to choose a main demon and improve its talent. But warlocks can own only one demon at a time, these talents never conflict with each other.
Then I suggest two new talents to fill the vacancies:

Shadow Energy Shield
An Critical hit made against you by any offensive abilities has 33/67/100% chance to activate your inner shadow energy. This shield will consume next critical hit you take by any offensive abilities, and reflect it to the caster as shadow damage in the same amount. This effect lasts 4 sec and will not occur more than once every 8 sec
.
I think this talent fit warlocks’ philosophy quite well, hurting a warlock will probably cost. You can change the duration and cooldown for balance, mine is just an immature example.

Demonic Skin
Plan A: Reduces the chance you’ll be critically hit by melee and spells by 4/7/10% while you lose control of your character
.
Plan B: Reduces all damage you take by 5/10/15% while you lose control of your character.
With these two talent, locks may not be killed as quickly as before
.

Demonic Sacrifice is a weird talent in Demonology Talents tree. After spending 20 points to improve demon, warlocks get a talent that teach us to sacrifice the empowered demon! How about changing Demonic Sacrifice to a learnable spell? In that case, you have good explanation to debuff Demonic Sacrifice, as it shouldn’t be too over power since it become learnable. Then, I’d like to present a new 21 points talent:

Demonic Dedication
Requires 20 points in Demonology Talents
An attack which would otherwise kill you will be taken by your summoned or enslaved demon. Extra 50% of all damage taken by the caster will be taken by your demon for 5 sec. This effect requires Soul Link activated and cannot occur more than once per minute

The 31 points talent Demonic Empowerment should also be effective on Metamorphosis. How? I think at least Demonic Empowerment can break all fear (and disorient) effects on lock when lock is in demon form. I don’t expect Metamorphosis immune to fear effects. But as a fearless demon, it should at least have a chance to break fear. Anyhow I don’t think it’s over power if Metamorphosis (45 sec.) can be immune to fear effects for 15 sec.

4) On Affliction Talents
Deep Demonology warlock requires anti-dispel effect which is unnecessary for deep Affliction warlock. Please move the anti-dispel effect from Contagion to Suppression. The effect that reduces the mana cost of your Affliction spells can be moved from Suppression to Grim Reach.

I have some other suggestions on Affliction Talents like Improved Fear, Haunt, Shadow Embrace, Dark Pact and new 31 points talent “SwiftSiphon” or “DoT Explosion”. But I decide to delete them since Affliction talents tree is not bad, I dare not ask for more. However, I believe you will discuss them, right?!

translation: There is some reason I can't post it on the o-boards, but here are 3 different ways to make the class so overpowered that it will destroy PvP. If you post my ridiculous suggestions, you will take all the flak, and I will look completely innocent.

Have you even been in arena? if so how could you not possibly know this one talent would make us next to invincible.

Half of the others would have a severe impact on PVE too, at least you didnt decide to make your own fake patch notes with these. :/
