Took a bit of a break from the game and decided to level up my druid. Hes 72 I'm thinking about respecing to a more tank oriented build and was wondering what yall think of the one I've come up with so far. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxGGscrzceRc0zNZ0E0z

I would personally power myself straight down to Berserk and then go back and fill in talents like PP and ILOTP. That cooldown is niiiice for tanking. Infected Wounds, too.

Here's my suggestion: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxGGsfb0ceocczIo0E0z

I took out Feral Charge because I don't pvp and don't really find it necessary to tank effectively, so you can move a point from RnT to that if you really want to use it.

Edit: Most druids I know give kind of a 'meh' reaction to ILOTP these days; does anybody have like a WWS or something that shows how much healing it adds up to over the course of a fight? I'm debating between taking that for my last two points in my build or putting them into PI to bolster cat DPS a little more. I like tanking and want to tank though, so that's my first priority in the build.

Thanks for the response, http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxGGscr0ceocczIo0E0z that's the new build with some changes (no charge/ILOTP and a point in zerk). Any reason for shredding attacks? I know lacerate says a high threat move but will a 2 rage lower cost really make that big a difference?

I take shredding for cat maneuvers more than the Lacerate cost reduction, but Lacerate is still used heavily enough to warrant making it cheaper, imo.

ILOTP is really nice for leveling though. I can't count how many times I have finished a fight still at full health because of the healing done. I would go with something like this. You can easily tank regular instance with this all the way to the time you hit 80 and when you aren't tanking, there is plenty of cat stuff in there to help when you are soloing.

ILotP packs gives me 1200ish HP every 6 seconds. I crit a lot.

Level 72 build. Has everything you need to tank and ILotP will help solo play more than you can imagine.

The one I linked is what I would use at your level.

Go tank some stuff.

I think I saw a WWS report on the EJ forums that showed iLotP to account for 4% of the raid healing. (From memory, can be wrong) It's not that much, but it helps. Even better if your raid is melee-heavy.

I think it's pretty good if you're a tank, too. As Bear Druids will have high amounts of health, a percent-based heal is pretty good and it will occur nearly every time its CD is up, which turns it into some sort of HoT with 6s ticks... or something. >_>
