It’s kind of fun what you can find on your accomplishments and statistics pages.

The other day I browsed through some of my stats and came across a fun number: my biggest heal was been for just over 30,000 health. I saw that and boggled. I’ve delivered some big heals in my time, but you’d think I’d remember something like that!

Then I did remember. Back in the day when the Glyph of Dispel Magic healed 6% of a friendly target’s max health and there was no ceiling on what it could heal, I amused myself by sitting in Drek’Thar’s chamber and spamming Dispel Magic on him while an alliance raid tried to take him down. Drek has about 350k health. I was restoring 6% of that every cooldown, and the effect could crit. Usually he had wound poison or mortal strike or something on him, cutting down on the numbers, but they were still pretty huge.

What’s your largest heal? Do you remember what it was from?

Doesn’t sound implausibly high for a holy priest to me…a greater heal critting on a tapped-out warlock with Fel Armor in a tree druid’s aura would do it. And if your stats page counts overhealing, I’d almost expect yours to be even higher.

I just don’t generate numbers that big myself, being Disc. My only hope of topping my current record would be if the system counts all three ticks of Penance as a single heal, and even then I’d need a triple crit in an enhanced-healing situation. Hmmm…are there any boss fights where your healing powers are multiplied?

That’s hilarious. I didn’t cast any big heals during the Undercity chain…I spammed Holy Nova nonstop, and as a result I topped the damage meters in my party of 4. The rogue and the enhancement shammy, friends of mine who usually spam the meters every time they pull ahead of each other, were noticeably quiet about that.

In an infinite mana situation, it’s a pretty good spell.

You have to remember that those statistics record all your heals and damage, including times when you are insanely buffed, like, ohh say the quest to invade undercity, where you are insanely buffed by Jaina and Wyrnn.

For instance, my largest hit dealt is 244,347. And my largest heal is 89,053.

My biggest heal is for 95578! I must have had a big glass of oj that day.

I remember this heal, I was in 5 sets of T7 gear (my arms stuck straight out) and had a devil of a time trying to move my arms to get the heal off on my partner, also in the 5-set T7 gear setup. He was a warrior and could barely walk up to Thrall, let alone swing those 5 swords, we used duct tape and baling wire- yeah, that's the ticket...

Actually, I think I was either morphed or in a vehicle of some sort during a quest. It's a shame that the stats keep that number over what I would consider my best "normal" heal.

ya I think these heals are for quests when you take control over something (like Aces high or something of that nature). No way my shammy ever healed for 30k lol. And his is a similar number. shammy heals will never be close to being that high.

This is what I hate about the statistics page. It's an interesting feature and all, and in theory it should allow you to look back on those moments of shining glory where all the stars aligned just right, everything procs, lady luck came back from her holiday, and for one glorious instant the game bent over and allowed you to have your way with it.

But it doesn't.

Those whole brain-meltingly high numbers are overshadowed by certain fights such as the Wrathgate event or the Netherspite fight in Kara.

It makes me a sad panda.

My biggest heal was 112K on my mage...so I'm pretty sure that includes any NPC heals you've done. There's a few NPC's you ride and kill 100's of mobs and can fully heal yourself or some ****...

My biggest Heal is 11.5k on a 79 DK in Violet Hold when I was lv 73 with a Guardian Spirit Crit, not huge but I was very happy with it.
