Any other FFB mages notice a bit of a drop in the crit damage for FFB? I swear I was crit'ing for around 10k each, but then was only hitting 8k last night. No gear changes, no party memeber changes. Oddly enough, my DPS for the fight went up though.

Nothing on the Oboards about a nerf to FFB damage or crits. Someone thinks they have a lower crit percentage, though, and several are agreeing with them. It's a scary thing.

Random crit rate is random imo.
I haven't seen anything on EJ or any posts saying that they nerfed the coefficient of FFB, just Abar.

Not the crit numbers they're seeing, the paper doll crit percentage. No RNG involved.
Oh interesting. If it is on the paper doll then there would be an easy way to find out as it has nothing to do with ffb just the fire talents.
Oddly enough I had some 15k FFB crits during Naxx25. /shrug

They seem to think it has something to do with Intellect, since they can't find anything else.
My crits didn't feel like they were hitting lower, though my max(non-Thaddius) crit was a fair bit lower this week than last week. Probably RNG in that, though.
Nothing scientific to back up my observations, but my crits seemed to be hitting normally @ 8k-10k.
Random observation but our Top FFB Mage which happens to be one of our least geared players scored amazingly in Naxx on Tuesday.
I'm not sure what happened, but the numbers he was pulling were way out of the realm of "learning to play better" and his gear hadn't really changed much. I was under the impression that FFB had gotten a little boost.
