Titan's Grip GlitchFollow

I've leveled my warrior as Protection since the mid thirties and loved it, but I recently got a couple of lucky drops in the mid 60's and thought I'd try out TG to see if it was really all I've heard about. Unfortunately, I hated it. It honestly felt like I killed things slower, so I respecced to Protection. Here is where the glitch came in:

When I respecced, I was dual wielding a pair of two handers, and I continued to have them equipped after losing Titans Grip and spending my points back in Protection.

Has anyone else seen this? Was this a one time glitch? As protection, I needed a shield equipped, and when I put my shield on, it unequipped my main hand two hander, so it seems that any gear change will do that, and as protection it's not that big of an upgrade. But if an Arms warrior could do this, we might see some truly ridiculous things, since it would give the benefit of a 51 point talent while letting you skip the points in between.
