Glyph of Death Strike change?Follow

I've had the Glyph of Death Strike for a while now. It used to read, "Increases your Death Strike's damage by 2% for every 5 runic power you currently have. The runic power is not consumed by this effect." Now, it reads, "Increases your Death Strike's damage by 2%."

Now, here's the strange thing. I only realized this change when I was browsing the AH for other glyphs and I moused over a Glyph of Death Strike. See, the Glyph in my spell book still reads the old description. Is this just a glitch?

From what I understand, the tooltip you see in the glyph menu is the right one. You still get the RP bonus.

So, does that mean that the tooltip I saw in the AH is wrong? I do use Auctioneer, which squashes the auction interface somewhat, so it's possible it truncated the tooltip and I just didn't notice...

When they changed glyphs to remove the side effects (ie. removing the disease penalty from obliterate glyph) they decided to change the glyph of death strike to a flat damage increase, instead of increasing the healing you get from it. It was a nerf. The change took place a few weeks ago, go review MMO champion's news and you can see when the change was made and relevant blue posts if you need those.
