Ok, so I have a 80 priest now I wanna lvl my rogue he is 70 almost 71 and is er was sub spec and I'm not sure if it's best for lvling I wanna try something new and I'm not sure what spec to do. I have 2 crappy merci swords, so can someone link me the best lvling spec please

This would have been a great question for our Simple Questions / Simple Answers thread - but in my opinion, level from 70-80 as Mutilate.

I completly agree with Eon. I tryed Combat swords and Mutilate leveling that range and Mutilate was much better.
Mutilate spec, I was combat maces at 70 but changed.
Easy for soloing/questing.
Basic rotation-
Cheap Shot>Mutilate>eviscerate>mutilate
if the mobs not dead by then, pop a kidney shot instead of a eviscerate

I would say use deadly poison on both weapons, then CS - muti - ks - muti - muti - envenom. Eviscerate just isnt as good as envenom when you have a full stack of poison on.
For leveling Mutilate it's best to use Wound/Wound. DP + Envenom is comparatively better for raiding where armor plays a bigger role in total damage output. Evis is great on quest mobs. Weapon speed is not vital for leveling but in general slower weapons will have higher average damage and be better for burst. But never trade DPS for speed, take the highest DPS weapons you get.
IIRC this is the spec that I eventually ended up with. Basically very close to a PvP build, based on control and burst.
Keep mobs stunned. Cheap Shot > Mutilate > Evis (replace with Kidney Shot > Mutilate ... if needed)

My Bias against Eviscerate may be outdated. I took a loooong break from wow. I haven't looked too closely and Eviscerate lately.
For mutilate it's only really good for quest mobs. For bosses envenom is much better as you note =)
