I'm respeccing eleFollow

I've decided to respec ele under extreme pressure (slight exaggeration) from my guild. I'll still be keeping all my enhance gear but just wanted to know the fastest and cheapest way to get hold of ele gear, do i just scour the AH for decent blues? Is it 'the done thing' to raid or do heroics for ele gear while playing as enhance? Although if it's in the guilds interests i guess they won't mind. If i'm grouping as a PuG will it be an issue needing on ele gear?

Any ele shammies out there with some useful tips?

If they are expecting you to pick up another gear set and respec then they should be willing to run you through whatever you guys have on farm to pick up that set. If you guys are farming naxx-10 then you should be able to go in there as enh for a few weeks and get the ele gear. If your not farming naxx yet then they should be taking you through quick heroic runs.

If they expect you to do all that on your own then maybe it's time to talk to the GL or find a new guild.

Well covered guys, I agree with all this advice.

Stay enh for now and get your ele drops. Ask the guild to help you with this since you are doing this for them. PuG if you have to, as feelz noted you will generally only have to compete for ele drops against another ele shammy or a resto shammy and it will probably not be too hard for you to avoid grouping with other shammies meaning you'll get the drops.

If you do end up in a PuG with another shammy just make sure you get this (your intention to roll on caster loot) out in the open first so there can be no bad blood.
