I've been trying to find a post patch spec for dual weilding DPS all I can find is numbers with no links.
Been pretty much full blood till now.
looking to give it a try and see how it goes.
any tips would be great to :)
btw i'm a Death Knight Noob

-weighting found this so Strength->Hit->Crit->Expertise
ap 1
str 2,8
agi 0,85
hit 1,9 (0,6 when hitcapped)
crit 1,1
haste 0,7
exp 1,1
arp 0,7

-weapon speed slow/slow best or something else? no idea.

- spec Talents?
found a build on MMO-Champion 0/31/40
is this the right build? I know personal preference and play styles differ greatly just trying to get a better handle on this.
another one 0/45/26 but he is beyond hit capped what would i take out to put 2 more points in virulence

-rotation that went with build
PS>IT>BS>BS>HB Dump
PS>IT>IT>IT>HB> Dump

sorry just kinda throwing whatever i find in this post.

Alessan

Snag my build off my armory. I'm by no means super geared, but I do 2.5-3.2k dps throughout Naxx and on Sarth/Arch.

Hit rating is important for DW.

Typical rotation is IT > Pest > HB > BB > RP dump

After that it is very situational depending on the number of mobs/mobility of the fight.

Good luck. Hope this helps.

EDIT: I can haz spelling

Galenmoon, I noticed you have 5/5 desecration, but don't mention Plague Strike in your rotation. Did you just omit it by mistake or do you not use PS? If you don't use it, you might want to find somewhere else to put those points.

Good call, I was actually testing out a spec with it. It is nice in 5-mans, not so much in raids. Probably end up switching away from it at some point. With 5 in it, I'd use PS first to get desecration up IF it wasn't a mobile fight.

Galen, you might also want to scrounge up 2 points for Night of the Dead. Especially if you have Glyph of the Ghoul. Since the 3.0.8 patch that talent will keep your ghoul up. Mine actually survived the blood elf fight in H. Nexus. And with all of the ghoul dps boosts with talents and glyphs I can't imagine having a hybrid spec without night of the dead.

edit:

Btw please ignore the titansteel destroyer I have equipped. I was lvling my two handed mace skill when I logged. Normally I have Maexxna's Femur and the Fang of Truth from Wyrmrest rep. I'm considering getting the grasscutter to replace the fang.

Though considering the changes to Killing Machine I'm not sure if I should go with a two hander or stick with the dual wielding. It doesn't help matters that I fail at math. ; ;

Yeah, Night of the Dead is a great DPS talent, with how fragile the ghoul is.

It's actually really good for PvP as well.
